Weirdest thing happen to you in a cemetery?
Few years back I was taking pics in a local cemetery and had my dogs with me. I looked down a row of stones and saw a elderly man in farmers bib, kind of weather work looking if you know what I mean. He was crouched down with one hand on top of the grave, his head tilted down- gave me feeling it was his wifes grave. Well I looked away to get a line of sight on my dogs and turned back- no man to be seen. Instead there was a single black crow sitting on the grave.
Ok guys time to go! And off me and my dogs went post haste!
Finally got a chance to snap a pic or two of my chair. Now tell me they are not the same!!

Is there a window or mirror in the back right of tthe fire place?
Gravestone oof the Rev. john Chandler in the South Burying Grounds, Billerica MA. What makes it unique is instead of angle or skull effigies, it has his portrait...
I posted a grave marker back a few that was mettle- some form of aluminum or pot mettle. Here is another example of a mettle stone- only in cast iron. I think it has survived quite well for 153 years!
Gravestone (and quite monumental for two) of Moses Tyler Stevens and his wife Charlotte Emeline Osgood.
Hezekiah Ballard. Died November the 4rth, 1751 at age 70.
I chose this one due to the embellishments. All the circles and star burst and scroll work. Somone put in a lot of work for Mr. Ballard!
Gravestone of my great-grandfather Thomas Rogerson and great-grandmother Eunice Linton (Nutter) Rogerson, Brockway Cemetery, Brockway, New Brunswick Canada.
Grave stone of Edith & Horace Hebert, Lowell Cemetery, Lowell Mass. Not sure what the chair signifies as he was a harness maker. Should note- I have a chair with the same dog heads! I think they are Irish Setters. Will have to add picture of mine. He was from Germany so Why Irish Setters???
Grave and family plot of Henry Flint Chandler, Medal of Honor recipient buried in Andover.
Family plot including Henry G. Tyer, inventor of vulcunized rubber.
An alluring spectacle wherever you drive. [Mercedes-AMG GT S | Kraftstoffverbrauch kombiniert: 9,6 - 9,4 l/100km | CO2 Emissionen kombiniert: 224 - 219 g/km | http://mb4.me/Rechtlicher_Hinweis/] #MBsocialcar by Marcel Hobrath
I actually saw one of these coming home last night. Even meaner looking in person!
Gravestone of Ezra Farnham and his wife- Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover MA. Interesting thing about this is it is made from cast metal
Grave if John Aiken and his wife Mary Means. Mary’s sister, Jane Appleton Means was wife to President Peirce, and would often summer in Andover
Abraham Marland and wife Mary Sykes. He is recognized as one of the founders of the textile industry in New England.
I know I said I was going to start posting from the thoudand of gravestones i have pics of but my time has been occupied caring for my elderly parents. My mother, unfortunately passed away Sunday. She had cancer and we knew it was not far off so I bought a plot for mom and dad last October. Now my mom loved cardinals. Near where I bought the lot was this stone. Was thinking of having a cardinal on hers.
