am i the only one who cries to alyssa greene and not unruly heart???
okay i've always thought that the sexuality of actors doesn't matter and that straight actors should be allowed to play gay characters without making it an issue because of their sexuality. but james corden is single handedly changing my mind on that.
what’s joe biden’s plan to get james corden to stop being in movie musicals
black lives matter. they always have.
Me in jail: so are you guys familiar with the Cell Block Tango
just wondering.. why are broadway fans so afraid to admit that broadway is racist
Gonna have to disagree with this.
Dear Evan Hansen has black actors / actresses. Hamilton has black actors/actresses.
And soo many more Broadway musicals. They seem to not be racist to me
no 💗 i don’t think you understand my point so here are some facts 💗
deh has one (1) continuously Black-casted principle character and she wasn’t even Black in the original production in DC 💗
hamilton is one (1) show 💗
shows like deh, wicked, mean girls, and more have more BIPOC as understudies/covers, replacements and ensemble than they do as principle actors, meaning that they have no desire to cast BIPOC unless they absolutely have to (such as when a white actor calls out) 💗
there are currently zero Black-owned broadway theaters 💗
if broadway was not racist than BIPOC artists would not need to form movements and organizations such as the Broadway for Racial Justice, the Broadway Diversity Project, We See You, White American Theatre, and the Broadway Advocacy Coalition, among many others that have been joined by BIPOC and white allies alike 💗
deh and hamilton both have predominantly male and non-Black creative teams 💗
“Broadway Is Racist”
having Black actors in your cast for diversity points doesn’t count as anti-racism 💗
having Black friends doesn’t make you anti-racist 💗
everyone go home i made a masterpiece
i know this was originally a deh account but bandstand is the best musical
the fact that newsies still stage door each other is the reason I live.
Put Bandstand on Netflix you cowards
What she says: I'm fine
What she thinks: What happened to Cathy at the end of The Last Five Years? I mean Jamie said that he closed the bank account, he left her in an house she couldn't afford, he pushed her to quit her job, she probably had no one in the city and she had no help nor money. What did she do? Did she quit her dreams and went back to her family? Did she find another shitty job in the city? Did she find someone better to love? Did she become an actress?
Listening to You Matter To Me is really just like
I was looking at Little Shop of Horrors puppets on etsy and I CANNOT believe how much I laughed at this.
is there a clause is the spring awakwning production rights that mandates that melchior MUST stand on a chair or table during his part in the bitch of living? because I've yet to see a performance where he doesn't
he likes to feel tall
