No one is fucking talking about it but another black man was killed by the same police department that killed George Floyd they killed him 9 seconds after entering his apartment. No knock warrants are fucking bullshit. He was wrapped in his blanket he was innocent they had the wrong address there is body cam footage you cannot fucking deny this bullshit.
This is being hushed up and covered up and I cannot believe it took me until TODAY, SIX DAYS AFTER IT HAPPENED to find out about it.
Everyone should be talking about this shit.
All the BLM protests and here we are again. We cannot let a single one of these slide because that's how nothing changes and that's how innocent people are being killed at the hands of assholes who are happy to pull the trigger without hesitation. I'm so fucking upset right now and so should you be.

Taking Initiative in Treating Mental Illness: #B4Stage4
When we think about cancer, heart disease, or diabetes, we don’t wait years to treat them. We start before Stage 4—we begin with prevention
"When we think about cancer, heart disease, or diabetes, we don’t wait years to treat them.
We start before Stage 4—we begin with prevention. When people are in the first stage of those diseases and are beginning to show signs or symptoms like a persistent cough, high blood pressure, or high blood sugar, we try immediately to reverse these symptoms. We don’t ignore them. In fact, we develop a plan of action to reverse and sometimes stop the progression of the disease. So why don’t we do the same for individuals who are dealing with potentially serious mental illness?
1 in 5 American adults will have a diagnosable mental health condition in any given year.
50 percent of Americans will meet the criteria for a diagnosable mental health condition sometime in their life, and half of those people will develop conditions by the age of 14.
Stages Of Mental Health Conditions
Stage 1
Mild Symptoms and Warning Signs
At Stage 1, a person begins to show symptoms of a mental health condition, but is still able to maintain the ability to function at home, work or school—although perhaps not as easily as before they started to show symptoms. Often there is a sense that something is “not right.”
Stage 2
Symptoms Increase in Frequency and Severity and Interfere with Life Activities and Roles
At Stage 2, it usually becomes obvious that something is wrong. A person’s symptoms may become stronger and last longer or new symptoms may start appearing on top of existing ones, creating something of a snowball effect. Performance at work or school will become more difficult, and a person may have trouble keeping up with family duties, social obligations or personal responsibilities.
Stage 3
Symptoms Worsen with Relapsing and Recurring Episodes Accompanied by Serious Disruption in Life Activities and Roles
At Stage 3, symptoms have continued to increase in severity, and many symptoms are often taking place at the same time. A person may feel as though they are losing control of their life and the ability to fill their roles at home, work or school.
Stage 4
Symptoms are Persistent and Severe and Have Jeopardized One's Life
By Stage 4, the combination of extreme, prolonged and persistent symptoms and impairment often results in development of other health conditions and has the potential to turn into a crisis event like unemployment, hospitalization, homelessness or even incarceration. In the worst cases, untreated mental illnesses can lead to loss of life an average of 25 years early.
Early Identification And Intervention
Catching mental health conditions early is known as Early Identification and Intervention. However, many times people may not realize that their symptoms are being caused by a mental health condition or feel ashamed to pursue help because of the stigma associated with mental illness. It’s up to all of us to know the signs and take action so that mental illnesses can be caught early and treated, and we can live up to our full potential. Even though mental illnesses may require intensive, long-term treatment and a lot of hard work at the later stages, people can and do recover and reclaim their lives.
One way to see if you may be experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition is to take a screening. Visit www.mhascreening.org to take a quick, confidential screening for a variety of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Use your screening results to start a conversation with your primary care provider, or a trusted friend or family member and begin to plan a course of action for addressing your mental health.
Remember, mental health conditions are not only common, they are treatable. There is a wide variety of treatment options for mental illnesses ranging from talk therapy to medication to peer support, and it may take some time for a person to find the right treatment or combination of treatments that works best for them. But when they do, the results can be truly amazing and life changing.

The video store lets people rent locked rooms where they can watch adult video content. According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, they have received complaints from area residents and other patrons about the store.
“I went inside and was hooking up with someone and the next thing I know eight of us were against the wall with handcuffs with plastic zip ties on them,” one man arrested in the raid told the Washington Blade. “And we all spent the night in jail. I was released at like six o’clock in the morning.”
"I don’t know why people have a problem with this. We go there to meet people like us.”
A friend of another of the arrested men said that his friend and another man were in a locked booth together when police “in full riot gear unlocked his room and arrested him and his friend.” They are now facing a charge of indecent exposure for their activity in a locked room.
“They spent the night in jail and were badly treated,” the arrested man’s friend said.
Maryland’s law against perverted sexual practices bans oral sex with other people and animals, as well as any other “unnatural or perverted sexual practice with another or with an animal.”
Like many sodomy laws, the text of this law does not explicitly name gay and bi people – heterosexual couples can also engage in oral sex – but in practice laws like these are only enforced against people having sex with the same sex.
Sodomy laws like this one were overturned by the Supreme Court in its landmark 2003 Lawrence v. Texas decision, which said that states can’t use appeals to morality to justify laws that ban private activity between consenting adults.
A 2013 Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision about Virginia’s ban on anal and oral sex reaffirmed that it’s unconstitutional to ban private sex acts even if the laws apply to heterosexual couples as well. Maryland is in that court’s jurisdiction.
“There are cases around the country discussing whether certain areas are private, usually focusing on whether the participants had a reasonable expectation of privacy,” attorney Greg Nevins told the Blade. He said that locked rooms in video stores should be considered the same as locked hotel rooms.
That several of the men aren’t facing charges for indecent exposure at all indicates that authorities are not even accusing them of having sex in public.
The Sheriff’s Office defended the raid in a statement, citing “an increased number of concerns and allegations of a wide variety of illegal activity.” The statement did not say whether those complaints were about sexual activity happening behind locked doors.

This happening in 2021 goes to show that these laws technically being invalidated across the country in 2003 doesn't actually mean that much when day-to-day enforcement of laws is up to the discretion of a fascist paramilitary gang.
"Can someone get sentenced?" cannot be the only concern. This isn't the only time this has happened over the last couple decades. Police are completely unaccountable, so they are free to create their own form of law. What is arresting someone and throwing them in a cell for a night if not a punishment? These articles say the supreme court rendered these laws 'unenforceable', but what is this police harassment if not enforcement?
