I am so glad to see you doing posts more recently. (I think this is one of the blogs that I looked through for book recs, when I was first getting into Star Trek, so I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for some of those. It’s so amazing to know that you are still reading some of them.)
I’m glad you’re enjoying my blog! I haven’t been reading as much myself with things going on idk lately, but I still like to reblog other people’s posts about trek books. It certainly helps me build my reading list!
This dude just heard about Bones five minutes ago and he’s already assuming that he’s bi
Hello everyone who’s enjoying that post about feral Spock lol. I haven’t been super active in a while but I’ll get back to reading eventually, so thanks for the follows and I hope you enjoy some of my other posts until I have new things to share!
if you want to read any more trek comics theyre online at readcomiconline. to the scan quality isnt always great but its free
Thanks, I’ll have to check it out!
i’m going to keep drawing the cute dog lady from killing time and you can’t stop me
there’s a part in that novel where s'parva leans over spock’s shoulder and her ear fluff tickles his neck or something and distracts him, and butter my biscuit if it ain’t the cutest
I was wondering if you knew where I could get the Starfleet Academy 2010 book series. I've looked online and only found ebooks and Amazon's pretty expensive, so I was hoping you'd know of somewhere else that sold the books?
I got mine on Amazon, so I’m not sure where else you might be able to find it. Do any of my followers have any ideas?
Collision Course has a rebellious Spock with long hair. It doesn’t get much better than that. @hearteyedbatboy ♡
hey remember that time spock started to go into pon farr and kirk felt the symptoms through their bond and it wasn’t a fanfic but an actual published book that i physically purchased for $3.00 with real human money
Hey !! Can u say whereabouts it says about spock's long hair in collision course ??? I have it and i've read it but i don't remember that ! Obviously i need to reread it what a good and beautiful piece of information
It’s mentioned a couple of times in the book but this is my favorite part
Because it makes me think of this happening
have you ever read any of Diane Duane's books? her Star Trek novels are some of the best I've read
I’ve read Doctor’s Orders, and it’s one of my favorites! The Wounded Sky is in my unread books stack, I bought it after seeing a post about it somewhere on tumblr.
can I just say how much I appreciate you always tagging the title of the book? I decide which books I want to look for based on excerpts people post and it's so nice not having to crawl through the notes in vain looking for the title. also, have you read strangers from the sky? I loved it and would really enjoy your commentary.
I do the same thing to find books, so I wanted to make it easy for everyone to see which books my posts came from. Strangers from the sky is actually in my stack of unread books right now! I’ll probably read it next, right after I finish double double.
Bones unthinkingly risks his life, Spock flips out Pre-Reform Vulcan-style, nothing to see here

spock: crashes through through the veil of death like the kool-aid man just to finish their dumb gay inside joke
He’s. He’s just. Stripping. While he and Spock talk and play chess
Just powercouple things: talking strategy while being domestic
[id: photo of a page in a book that reads: “I hope that carrier is trying to escape us, Spock” Bootless, Kirk stood up and stripped off his shirt. “Under the circumstances, I’m more worried about overtaking that ship than loosing it.”
The science officer considered this statement.”Phaser cannons, triple-field defence shields, photon disrupter buoys …”
“Which wouldn’t mean a damn thing if we had warp speed,” said kirk now fully unclothed, as he ducked into the sonic shower.
“However, at impulse speed we are less than evenly matched.” Spock weighed the strengths of both sides as if evaluating another chess game. “Our phasers would be hard pressed to penetrate its defences. Our shields could not withstand more than one direct hit. The Falchion will be at a similar disadvantage. Our combined forces may not be sufficient to counter an attack.”
And yet these aliens do seem determined to pick a fight,” yelled kirk form inside the cubicle.
“Agreed,” said Spock. His fingers lightly touched the bishop, but did not change its position. He studied the board yet again and slowly withdrew his hand.
Kirk stepped back into the room. “It’s cold in here,” he complained , quickly pulling on a clean set of clothes.

No exaggeration, I laughed out loud when I read this.
Sadly, Kirk and McCoy never discuss this particular mission again. I really wish someone would write a fanfic to elaborate. It practically reads like a fic prompt.
