“Oh! Like… Star Wars? The movie franchise.” She smiled softly but felt a little nervous again. He really wasn’t into the same things as her so this… felt strange. When he asked what Twitch was, she felt her mouth drop open. “O-oh! It’s a streaming service that people can stream them playing video games, movie commentary, playing instruments, and you can interact with you audience live. It’s… part of my job. Helps with my online presence.” She got into the car and got her seatbelt secure.
Slowly but surely she wasn’t sure if she was feeling the idea of him coming over. She nodded at his request and smiled softly. “Yeah sure. Also, I’m so sorry to change my mind but I really do have a lot to get ready for work tomorrow. I have a few interviews I’m doing for the comic book shop and I wanna make sure I’m prepared so… rain check on the coming over? If that’s okay?” she asked, smiling politely.

“I know what a lightsaber is.” He chuckled. “I like The Mandalorian. That’s a really good show. The little green guy is cute.” When she explained Twitch to him he nodded his head and glanced toward her while he pulled out of the parking. “That’s pretty cool. I don’t have much of an online presence. I guess I never really saw the point. Which probably sounds terrible considering it’s half your job. I don’t mean any offense. I just always felt like if you really had something to say to someone it’s best to say it in person. Not that I don’t understand the effectiveness it has for you to reach your platform. You can reach so many people but they can’t really reach you.” He winced a bit and felt like he was sticking his foot in his mouth. It wasn’t an understatement to say that he didn’t know how to do this kind of thing.
When she changed her mind he felt his stomach drop a bit. That’s only fair. Probably for the best anyway. Perhaps his charm was worn off and his mask was starting to crack? Maybe she could see something now that she hadn’t seen before. He stiffened up in his seat and offered her a polite smile back. “Sure thing. You’re a busy woman.” He turned his eyes to the road and pondered briefly if he had done something wrong. Cracking his window and removing his cigarettes from cup holder. “Do you mind if I smoke?”
