I wasn’t able to make a funeral, so instead made this. DK Gouache and Acrylic on watercolour paper. Based on the Fayum portraiture style. A worldly or divine Apsara អប្សរា from Angkor Wat អង្គរវត្ត. Paint and pencil on A3 watercolour paper. The original reliefs on the vast temple were painted, mostly in red pigment. Handmade paper sketchbook. 19x14cm. Pencils, Pens, Watercolour.It speaks for itself. The sketchbook was originally bought in India around 30 years ago. Most of the work was made in a recent holiday in Thailand and Cambodia. You can see where I went and what I saw. Sometimes drawing while walking. Loved it.
