The detail about Leif being able to tell where he is in the triad by the stars around him is insane. Like, yes, that technically works, but we’re talking about being able to positively identify markers from every angle across three galaxies. This is not a process you do by eye unless you have legitimately memorized the night skies of hundreds of planets.
And like, sure, it’s feasible but what the fuck. Verge knows about it which means he did it before he was on the run from Låfftrax. Did he learn this while he was with Verge? Or did he decide that he should memorize enough star maps to know where he was without a computer system on the off chance the Nancy Sinatra’s navigation stopped working?
Or did he learn this when making the navigation?
Regardless, that man can probably find geographic north more reliably than a compass in the triad.
