Honoured to be featured in a Logolounge book again! in! Two logos this time - for Ben Faulkner and Hot Teeth - have been selected to be published in Logolounge Book 9, a collection of best international identities by leading designers. It makes it 8 featured logos in total in 6 years. Ben’s logo is also included in the educational video tutorial on Lynda.com by LogoLounge: Handmade Aesthetic in Logo Design.

(Check out the bands by the way - The Bonfire Band, which is Ben’s Faulkner’s band, and Hot Teeth.)

Layers of perception

Usually when I draw - I know exactly what I want to say, but sometimes I am not quite sure what it means... So I ask other people to explain me my works. When I saw this guy with his typewriter in the House of Fairy Tales, writing stories for people - I thought I can't miss the chance to ask him for a story about my travelling mermaid! And I absolutely love it! The mermaid bit is absolutely correct (with the only exception that it is St. Petersburg, not London, but it could be any city you are trying to leave really... I just haven't tried to leave London yet), and the other one - I thought it is about love, fascination and fears, but why not Maldives and wind in my hair? Thanks to Luke Winter for this collaboration! (Maybe we could play with the Dragon stories someday?))
