"Woah!" Hands came up in defense when the moose like creature came hurdling towards him. He knew he’d get this reaction out of the younger Winchester but he didn’t expect the guy to be crying. "Calm down there, twinkle toes." A hand came up and rubbed Sam’s back, "Cut off the water works, will you? I’ve only been gone for like three or so years." Okay. Maybe that was bad for a human but so what? He was back right? "And I need to stay unknown. You got that? Not even Dean or Cas could know. But I heard you, buddy." How did an archangel console a human when he had no experience in doing so? "Hey—" Gabe paused and gently lifted the human’s head to give him a warm smile, "I came back for you, okay? Now, tell me why you’re praying."
Gabriel’s voice was familiar in Sam’s ear; Sam could hear that he was smiling the way that he always did, using names to be affectionate, even though they didn’t sound it at all.
He choked at the angel saying three years- “Yeah, you bastard, that’s a long time in human years,” Sam said thickly, voice full of bitterness. He sniffled in a vain attempt to stop the tears that still flowed, but quieted when the angel’s voice became more serious, instructing him. Sam’s hazel eyes were wide, shining with tears, and just looking at the man he’d missed so much for all this time.
"I … It doesn’t matter anymore," he said softly. And for the moment, it was true. He was having a thousand troubles with his brother, with himself, but as the angel stood in front of him none of it mattered.
"Oh come on now." Gabriel slowly was able to peel himself away from the big guy's arms to stare up at him. "I don't do this just for anyone, you know. I need to have a reason why I'm here. Otherwise, I'm going to disappear for a while." It was true. Just standing here in front of the Winchester was probably a beacon all on its own. A hand came up to wipe a few tears from that face before the tips of his fingers stared to glow just lightly. It was to calm Sam's probably jumbled up mind and to see what was going on for the past.. ever. Gabriel didn't know and how could he until Naomi was dead. "You really put yourself out there, don't you, kitten?"
A Fair Warning [Closed;CastieloftheFallen]
"Okay, Cas. You better listen to me this time. You need to stay away from those Winchesters." Finally, the two angels had their time together and away from the humans. "You spend too much time with them— even smell like both of them equally." Gabriel scrunched his nose and shook his head, puffing his chest a bit and coming closer. He was an Archangel, not a regular ol’ angel like his younger brothers and sisters. "I’m warning you. Stay away from them. Is that understood?" He hated seeing his brother being so wrapped up in their affairs when it wasn’t supposed to be his.
It had taken awhile to get used to the fact Gabriel had returned, on top of masking the relief he felt when he had once again laid eyes on the Archangel. Castiel had always admired his older brother and held him in high reguard in spite of his mischeivious ways and mourning his ‘death.’ Yet the Angel turned a cerulean gaze on the Archangel, meeting Amber hues that still made him a bit uneasy in the wake of this beings power. “The Winchesters….are my friends Gabriel. I will not stay away from them. With all that’s going on around them. They need my help.” he insisted, a small sigh pased his lips. Usually he would be inclined to listen to his brother, but having tasted free will, he found himself making his own choices more and more, whether they were the right ones or not.
"You never really think about your actions before you do them, do you?" There was a slight irritation in Gabriel’s voice that seemed sort of rare for the more laid back Archangel. "You have been through the shit storm the two have dragged you through. You didn’t have to take on those creatures from purgatory or fight our brothers and sisters." Gabriel mourned for them even if he never showed it on his face. "You listen to them more than you listen to me now. I might have faked my death but it was for good reasons— You’re that reason." A hand came out and jabbed into Castiel’s shoulder to give him a light shove, "You’ve gotten too soft. You taste that freedom and you’re already writing out your will." Gabriel didn’t want to see this sort of life for his beloved brother.. Not after what had happened to the others.
"Gabriel…" the younger seraph began, his shoulders moved with the sigh that escaped him "I made a lot of mistakes the past few years. But I have no regrets in standing beside the Winchesters. Dean says we’re family…and I feel it from my very core.Father was right that mankind should be protected….Life to be cherished." he paused as Gabriel continued to speak, his gaze softening as he did not even try to hide the admiration in his gaze as he soaked in Amber orbs "I was? What are you implying brother? I may have tasted freedom. But I am far from powerless…" not to mention living on stolen grace. But push comes to shove, he did what had to be done. "There is much I need to atone for, but they were my own choices, my own consequences….not Sam or Deans…"
"Stupid ones if you ask me. You've been through so much shit. How do you keep forgiving them?" Gabriel just couldn't believe what he was hearing. His eyes locked with his brother's before shaking his head. "Do you not see what the damage they do? I took the fall for them also. I know what free will is and I know what the Winchesters are capable of. You will be hurt by them one way or another." Gabriel knew for a fact that his warning wasn't going to do anything for the younger angel. "No one ever listens to me when it's actually important." All the years of screwing around among the humans and he was set for failure. "I just want to see you safe."
Wanna build a snowman? [ClosedRP]
"Lucy?" The young boy pouted at the closed door. "Do you want to build a snowman with me?" Gabriel was the youngest out of the four. Michael had been sent off to command the army, Raphael was by his side and there was only Gabriel and Lucifer left. Both did as their father told them to and one just happened to be leaving Lucifer alone. The second youngest was locked away in his room and away from the public eye. That really didn'tstop Gabriel's urge to be with his only brother left in the massive mansion. "Come on! Come out and play with me. You never do." Gabriel was just starting his teenage years but still had the energy of a child. "Please? Lucy? For me?"
I will charm, I will slice.
I will dazzle them with my wit.
"Nah. I’d rather watch you strip first, baby bro."
"….Very Well. And now?"
"Yesssss! Much more like it. Hope you don't mind the documentation."

He was under some strict orders, there was no way in Heaven was he allowed to breathe a word to a Winchester. Gabriel was dead and it chime through the Heavens that it was so.. unless you were a certain Naomi that kept him under lock and key. Once freedom came, Gabriel pushed through but still laid low for a while. That’s when he heard it. The chiming, the little buzz in his ear that made him peek into the prayer. It had been a while that there was a prayer with such a golden ticket as a actual feather. ”Well, I don’t normally do house calls..” Gabriel paused when he appeared at the door, leaning against it with arms crossed, “But I think I can make an exception for a certain Winchester.” He absolutely knew he shouldn’t have said anything but it was Sam. Sammy. His Sam even if the human didn’t know that. ”Hey, kiddo. How’s it hanging?”
All in one moment, Sam’s heart shattered.
He knew he was desperate. He knew that he needed help badly. But to imagine Gabriel’s voice …. His throat tightened and tears came to his eyes as he shook his head, trying to get rid it of the painful memory.
Then, he heard footsteps. The voice greeted him.
… “Gabriel,” he breathed, and turned. Soft golden eyes met his, and Sam immediately broke out into tears. “G-Gabriel-! You-re-” He didn’t care- in a second he was flying forward, wrapping his arms as tightly around the archangel as he could, and his body shook with sobs.
"You-you were dead-“ Sam choked out, tears spilling from shut-tight eyes as he buried his face in Gabriel’s neck.
"Woah!" Hands came up in defense when the moose like creature came hurdling towards him. He knew he'd get this reaction out of the younger Winchester but he didn't expect the guy to be crying. "I don’t … I don’t know what I’m supposed to do."
Sam he bowed his head as he started the shaky prayer, long-preserved angel feather between his trembling fingers.
"Please… please, I need help. I’m asking … Help me."

"Sabriel did what?????"
"Do you really want to know, kiddo?" Gabriel slowly leaned over the computer to snap it shut. "Those fangirls. Let me tell you. I have no idea where they get their ideas from." The angel tilted his head towards Sam with a little frown, "You look like you've just seen a ghost."

Only know you’ve been high when you’re feeling low Only hate the road when you’re missin’ home Only know you love her when you let her go And you let her go Staring at the bottom of your glass Hoping one day you’ll make a dream last But dreams come slow and they go so fast
