I wasn’t going to show this initially because it just came out so ugly and I got frustrated with it. But since it’s the “last” piece of art in one of these sketchbook side, decided to show it.
Went through my old sketchbook and found my very first set of art for my OC cut there. Honestly, some of my better art might try to redraw. And second images.
Working on a Serverblight (specifically Manipulation) fan art
It's messy and I need to do a lot of adjusting and canvas size changing, actually getting a bit frustrated this early in. Don't know when it'll be finished, but I'm going to try to stick with it.
Art: The Not Happening, Happening and Hope to Happen
So I want to upload are more than rambles but I need to say this out loud. For myself but still.
Anyway my art aspirations have not gone the way I was hoping for them to this year. This didn't happen and won't happen so I have to aim for next year. The earliest challenge for me would be in February and honestly they aren't actually challenges. Really they're personal projects/challenges

I was also hoping to be ready enough with my drawings so that next year I could have gotten an artist alley table for a con. That hasn't happened and right now with the year coming to an end I'm aiming to hopefully sell in 207.
But for now I need to step my game up. I'm doing an embarrassingly borderline non-existent job of improving my art work. I have the resources to help me learn and develop, but I just don't do. And I have the resources to help with that. But I have so many I get overwhelmed with choices. Either way for the rest of the year I need to get around that and draw when I have block. It won't be what I wish I was drawing maybe, but it'll be development.
I have a good anatomy book now so I can do that
I also have a book on perspectives
Numerous online tutorials (video and social media posts)
I'm trying to find my style so I need to do master studies. Right now I'm looking a lot at:

But I don't wish to complain-comment not so positively about my art level this year. I was doing okay I think for a while when I had my Clip Studio trail. I have now so I need to get back to using and learning it. That aside I did quite a few doodles and managed to mess around with my markers.
My biggest project is me actually doing artwork for a Team Fortress 2 fan character of mine. She looks a bit rough, but overall I'm pretty happy about it. I'm just about done with her. I just want to try to draw two pictures of her with one of the canon characters. If I'm lucky/diligent I can hopefully get them done by the end of the month.
Also hoping to get back to doing this one particular color palette challenge. Hopefully all of it by the end of the year or at least maybe 4 more not including the one I'm currently doing.
Anyway tomorrow (technically today) I'm going to be doing a small throwback to some of my art that I haven't uploaded to tumblr before (or anywhere else) so that'll be fun. (and a little sad the way my art has regressed omg)
Any way here's fingers crossed with projects on the horizon and shaky amount of hope.

I have so many projects that I want to get around too as well. Not to mention I have an interest in pixel art and I have an interest in animation.
