If you can’t tell, the top picture is supposed to be a whale fall reef, something I’ve become totally enchanted with lately. If you don’t know about whale falls, they are what happens after a whale dies and it’s body sinks to the ocean floor and becomes and entire ecosystem (for years!) for hundreds or even thousands of little creatures and once the tissue has been decomposed the bones become the base of a reef. How beautiful is that??

Tried Spark from the Hip Hemp Cafe and I LOVED it but ok here I have some questions for my cbd and thc friendly friends who have more knowledge than I do.

1. If you eat THC edibles but they’ve never done anything for you, would ingested CBD work or would you be unable to digest that too?

2. Can you feel the effects of cbd after you smoke/drink it? I never have so I’ve taken that to mean I don’t need it. Thoughts?

Yesterday I made this super easy Hot Honey Chorizo Sweet Potato Mash and I’m OBSESSED with it, it’s the only thing I want to eat - the only thing is I wish I’d had pecans to put in it.

I scrubbed clean 5 big sweet potatoes, rubbed them with oil and salt (since I mix the skins into my food since that’s where so much nutrition is), stabbed them a few times with a fork, and then roasted them in my little toaster oven (450 x 60 minutes).

When they were done I chopped them up and drizzled about 2 tbsp of honey on them, mixed it all up and added in the crumbled chorizo I’d fried up (using a slotted spoon, you don’t want to bring all that grease into the potatoes) and enjoyed!

White Mountains New Hampshire is THE place to spend the summer. What a gorgeous and unreal trip. Hiked to the top of Mount Lafayette and swam in the cool waters below it. 10/10 trip.
