Dark enough.
Just give me a cuddle and shut up.
Nope.
The certainly are.
What’s up?
The sky? Aeroplanes?
You’re always in the mood for skin to skin contact.
Wow...I...um...
Someone’s eager.
I'm in the mood for a cuddle.
Who wants to cuddle?
Pick me!
Prove me wrong.
About what?
Italian Carb Murder // Trinity and Andrew
Andrew offered a small smile, not sure how else to respond. “Well, I’m glad you stuck around” he nodded. Taking a few more bites of food, he grinned at her question. “Yeah, I am. It’s a girl and she’s only about a month old” he explained. Thinking of his niece made him smile. He wasn’t a huge fan of kids, but she was the exception.
His head turned towards the noise, causing him to shrug. “More than likely” he said glancing over at her. Seeing how wide her eyes got he continued his explanation. “This isn’t the best area of town, so you hear that a lot. We’re fine” he smiled, hoping he was being reassuring.
"Yeah, so am I," she said, giving him a slow smile. "Especially right now, or else i would have missed out on this." She licked her fork, getting the last of the sauce. "And by this, I mean this amazing pasta. Good lord." Reaching out, she caught the wine bottle again, washing down the last of her food with a long drink.
"I like babies better once they start being a little more interactive," she admitted, comforted at his explanation of the sirens. "For a few months they're just kind of like little slugs that keep you up all night. If they weren't so adorable, no one would like them."
Italian Carb Murder // Trinity and Andrew
Andrew laughed when she mentioned marrying Jay. “I’ll drop you back off on the way back” he nodded. The smile on his face didn’t fade as he watched her for a moment before going back to eating. He glanced up, hearing her voice change as she started to speak. He nodded, not really knowing what to say to that. “Have you tried to talk to him or have you both just been busy?” he questioned.
He took a few more bites, thinking over his answer. “I felt like driving across the country, but I didn’t want to drive back” he shrugged. His answer was vague compared to hers, making him rethink it. It was an honest answer, but there was more to it. “I didn’t really have anything keeping me in California. Both of my siblings are here on the east coast and my dad with probably move closer to my sister because she just had a kid, so it was just time for a change” he explained.
"I've tried," she admitted, frowning and her fork resting in her take out tray for a long minute. "It's almost like he's not here anymore. Actually, I almost went back to New Zealand instead of sticking around for this year," she admitted, raising her fork and chewing thoughtfully. "But the tuition was already paid and it would have been a nightmare re-transfering credits so.." she shrugged her shoulders in a 'such is life' motion.
"So you're an uncle?" she asked, happy to move back to discussing his life from hers. "How old is the baby? Boy or girl?" Her gaze flitted back and forth between his eyes and the landscape around them, the amazing view of Boston the rooftop provided. Just as she put her last bite of pasta into her mouth, a loud WOOP filled the air around them, a red flashing light poisoning the street below. "Is that the police?" Trinity asked, her eyes wide with fright as she looked over at him.
I’ll get it tomorrow, toots.
Fine.
What?!
I asked for one thing, and until that one thing is done, playdates are off the table.
You can’t lick your lip like that and say no.
