I photographed some Whiskey Bacon ice cream a few months ago for the Jack Daniel's Single Barrel blog that also ended up on Grubstreet. I could go for some ice cream right about now...

I live in Boston. I have never been prouder to live in Boston. Today and Monday have proved to be the most trying and frightening times to live in this city. Regardless, I have never been prouder to live in this city.
Tonight we can all let out a sigh of relief as the suspect at large, who has consequently shut down an entire city for close to 20 hours, has been apprehended. Tonight I am proud & tonight I want to run the streets and celebrate like the Pats just took another Superbowl. But tonight, Martin, Krystle, Lu and Sean will not have the opportunity to experience our revelry…and close to 200 others will have permanent reminders that these feelings of freedom come with scars.
Let us be #bostonproud and #bostonstrong, but as we begin to move forward and try to find any bits of normalcy, let us never forget those who had made the ultimate sacrifice.
#foreverinourhearts
On Sunday we cruised around the city looking for Boston's beautiful spring blossoms to photograph. They were easy to find. This is a beautiful arrangement from all that we collected. Happy springtime, happy renewal!

tumblr folks,
I've recently launched a new project with a fellow New England photographer and tumblr alum, asimplersound. This is a project that is very near & dear to us, one that we hope will someday become bigger than expected.
t.e.l.l. New England is a quarterly online publication that was born out of a desire to capture the essence of living locally in New England. Our passion for local culture and the ambition to tell the story of growing up and living in the Northeast is the foundation of this project.
Please stop by our website, like us on facebook, and follow us on twitter and instagram for what is sure to be one beautiful peek into life in New England.
thank you all for your support!
For me, a landscape does not exist in its own right, since its appearance changes at every moment; but the surrounding atmosphere brings it to life - the light and the air which vary continually. For me, it is only the surrounding atmosphere which gives subjects their true value. (Monet)
