101 Goals, 1001 Days

as much as i am consumed by stress and anxiety, i'm actually doing okay! i have work sorted out for the summer, my coursework is in, i chose my dissertation topic-- just gotta actually pass my exams now!

okay well it is the end of term so it's about time for a status update...

uni stuff is actually pretty on track? i'm nearly done with supervisions, so i'll then just have french coursework before i can start revising. i have flashcards for everything except latin, which is only half finished, and then more study notes need to be pulled together and i can work with those before i start palaeography supervisions which i *desperately* need to improve on.

i really have to do dissertation research over easter because i have literally no idea what i'm doing

unfortunately the whole applying for vac schemes is going considerably less well. i've applied for dozens of them but not had a single acceptance, but honestly that's just as well because i really don't want to do it, but it means i'm going to have to find a summer internship rather desperately

i dis manage to do some writing, which i'm really happy with! and i have a couple of collaborations lined up for when i have more free time

the big success: goals # 92-95 are all complete! i'm so happy!

so i have submitted my french coursework! it was a bit of a nightmare with the paperwork but i managed it a day early and with all the right forms.

i think it went well? i was doing queer theory in medieval fairy tales so i really enjoyed it

so far i have sent off...... a Lot of applications? and i have only had two rejections and both from very prestigious firms so i'm upset but not shocked.... i have a lot more to do but i think i'm at least kind of on top of them

@trippingalong and I have decided that in lieu of New Years Resolutions we’re doing the 101 goals in 1001 days challenge.

I’ll be posting those goals tonight? Probably a post for each ‘section’ Some of them will be… ‘Currently private’ because they are about my relationships! and it isn’t so muc ;) ;) private as they are ‘This is a surprise’ private

okay so i have succeeded in A Thing i have sent off another application for a legal internship and not missed any more deadlines

one more is due tomorrow so thats next and then quite a few in january, as well as a lot of other stuff, but getting one done feels like im a little more on top of it... plus i got the blog set up!
