Metal Bat Meta Talk

Alright, you guys. We need to talk about the Pompman.  First of all, it looks like Metal Bat’s name ‘Badd’ has been removed from the wiki. I don’t know what that means exactly, but I’m guessing that means we still need this confirmed confirmed. I asked a friend of mine for a translation of a certain tweet, and she speaks Japanese fairly well, so, this tweet translates to:

“There’s a mistake in this picture [referring to the attached manga page], and I’m sorry it’ll have to be corrected. In OPM 87, the writing in the speech bubble has to be changed to ‘big brother Baddo’. I’m very sorry.” The speech bubble in the attached image reads “batsudo(/batto) バツド”, instead of “baddo バッド”.

So, there’s that. I don’t know, someone fly to Japan and go bother Murata and ONE about it personally. (Don’t, actually. NO DO. DO IT.) 

For now, I’m still going to go ahead and just roll with it, because it’s pretty effin’ great.

After seeing the ridiculous amount of robo-Genos-children in Murata-sensei’s doodle, I got inspired to do something silly based on a scene from The Sound of Music.
