Once again, Eva couldn’t sleep. At home, walking outside was something she could always count on to clear her mind and relax her, she didn’t see why being stuck here had to make that any different. Plus, it gave her time to explore the beaches, see what was popular versus deserted at this time of night. This particular stretch was usually deserted, but apparently not tonight. She froze when she heard his voice before being blinded by his flashlight. “To be fair, I always look nice, and what? I’m not allowed to walk around? I didn’t realize being kidnapped implied a curfew.” she sassed back.
"What a strange assumption." There was not a speck of sarcasm in his voice. Tristan was being genuine- it had to be a full moon. Yes, the pirate was self serving a majority of the time when it came to the royals but, they weren’t unintelligent people. There were a few on the island that he did enjoy the conversation that they offered. This was the first time he had spoken to this particular individual though. He wanted to know more about this princes and—ultimately, what she might possibly have to offer him. "What made you think there wouldn't be rules on the island?"
