Yup. Completely ruin my life plan and I don’t have time for that.
Nah, honey you've got it. Physics plus calculus is your bitch.
Next one should be over 90 I hope. I refuse to take it again.
Yeah, that'd only set you back ten years or so, right?
You really should. It’s delicious and helpful.
I don't need any more convincing than that 89 percent.
Gladly. 89. Much better than the 67 on the last one. Unsurprisingly that extra study session helped me out.
Yeah, your food coding system is going places. I'm trying it for personal finance.
Fair point. I’ve got abs of steel too. I don’t blame you for staring. Sometimes I do that when I look in the mirror. No complaining here.
Yeah then let me enjoy the view. What grade did you even get on that test anyways?
You’re sort of zoning out there. Come join me in this “I didn’t die on my physics plus calculus exam” celebration!
You're in a bathing suit, I'm a human male. Cut me some slack here, sweet genius of mine.

"Nah, you earned that. Plus it’ll count towards my monthly fee for food." Settling against him with a smirk, "Though I did earn my keep tonight in preparing food." The calm that flowed through her was one that wasn’t common for her. She was one to constantly move and be active. Settling down was hard for her to do; except when Tris was involved. Her eyes were closed but she held off sleep in favor of talking with him. He was about the only one she was willing to be open with. "You think?" She smiled and opened her eyes to peek up at him. "It’s been stressful but I think it’ll go really well. At least I get to deal with my excessive amount of aggression somehow."
Tris shook his head slightly. "That's five bucks towards the 'Feed Charlie 2k15 Fund', then." His brows raised slightly as he listened to Charlie talk about food. His stomach grumbled slightly, but Tris chalked it up to mentally prepping for breakfast since he'd eaten dinner at the station. "'Course," Tris agreed, brows dropping as he shook his head slightly. "Who doesn't want to learn about kicking ass and stuff like that? I've even been thinking about taking some classes, and I don't have nearly as much aggression as you do." An easy grin spread across his face at the thought of watching Charlie teach other girls about MMA.

Having him beside her made her realize just how hard she was holding off sleep to wait up for him. It would have felt too strange for her to sleep while he was out working anyway. Plus she needed the forced time to work on her class assignments. She refused to get lazy just because of a storm. Her head tilted slightly in the direction of his hand, not wiping away the smile on her face as he pulled her down towards him. Placing a hand against his chest to help balance herself, her body felt extremely languid all of a sudden. “I didn’t want to stress you out more than you probably were.” Her gaze traveled back up to his. “Besides Benny really needed help with the crowd downstairs and I needed to talk to Lottie about some SDG stuff before our first meeting next week.” She shrugged awkwardly and feeling lazy she tucked her head against the shoulder of the hand that was against her skin.
Charlie reclined against him as she spoke. "Eddie gave me ten bucks, by the way, since you agreed without a fight. Half of it's yours, if you want it." Her head moved to rest against his shoulder as he waited for a response. Tris brushed his free hand over her hair now and let himself be distracted by the smooth shine of it in the soft light. The pair seemed to shift around each other automatically, moving to find their familiar comfortable positions. "Yeah?" His gaze flickered away from his hand where her hair was being twined gently between his fingers and onto her face, checking to see how she felt. "That SDG shit is gonna be a huge success. I can tell."

Resting her things on her lap as he settled she smiled softly at the way he sunk into the bed. She was fully aware of how serious he took his responsibilities. Charlie stared at her laptop screen once more before nodding and closing it down. Shoving all her things in her bag, she stretched her back from her sitting position. Slight cracking occurred but she ignored it in favor of pulling out her hair tie and laying beside him. “I lost the ability to actually process anything hours ago anyway.”
Turning on her side, she stared over at him, noticing how he seemed to look far better than when he first entered the room. Her worry over the storm was minimal but she let him dote over her in his own way. Deciding to take away some of the silence, Charlie leaned forward and pressed her lips against his. Pulling away slightly, “Glad you’re home.”
He winced as he practically felt Charlie's back realign instead of just hearing it. Tris let his eyes close for a moment as he nodded slightly in agreement. When he opened them lazily, he noticed the change in Charlie. Her hair framed her face now combining with the softness of her expression to make him feel at once more focused and infinitely more tired. His head lifted as Charlie kissed him, offering a broad grin as she eased away. "Glad to be home." One of his arms freed itself from behind his head to spread his fingertips across her cheek. Drawing her face back down to his, Tris kissed her again before pulling back and stroking his thumb along her chin. "Glad you decided to stay here, too. I was entirely prepared to argue with you, by the way. Not having to really threw me off."

Charlie’s need to burrow up in Tris’ bed was one that had to wait until she at least made some progress on her reading. Even though classes were cancelled until an undetermined date, she knew he professors weren’t going to let up on the work. Their terse emails gave that away. Enjoying the warmth Tris’ old basketball hoodie given to her for her birthday, Charlie settled onto the mattress with her supplies. Keeping her laptop plugged in, she wanted to ensure she had it fully charged if the power went out. By the time Tris was shuffling his way into his room, Charlie was mind deep into the chapter she was rereading for an assignment. Formulas and numbers were running through her mind. His voice made her look up at him and feel a sense of comfort wash over her. “Homework. Physics with Calculus is one of the worst things in the world.” Closing her book, she gathered up her papers as she watched him change. She was loath to admit it but she had worried about him while he was working. “How was work?” She put her things away to make room for him on the bed.
Pulling his shirt over his head, Tris shrugged before answering. "It was work. Lots of people panicking, mostly, but there was a house that got struck by lightning. Rain did most of our work, though." Deciding after brief deliberation that his sweatpants could stay, he moved to the space vacated by Charlie's books. The way his bed supported him almost made Tris sigh with relief. "I think you can pretend to ignore Physics with Calculus homework for the time being. Blame it on temporary hysteria, if you want." He flipped from his stomach to his back and settled with his arms behind his head. "I'm pretty sure it's an actual medical condition, to some extent." Charlie didn't seem to be worried about the storm but that hadn't stopped Tris from worrying about her the entire time he was working.

Everything in Tris's body ached as he made his way up the stairs towards his room on the second floor. The act alone took enough stealth that as he stopped at the top of the steps a sense of accomplishment filled him. Making his way through the house without disturbing anyone was a miracle on its own thanks to the various housemates of AXD and Deepher spread across the rooms in the main floor of the house. The girls who were awake nodded or waved, but no one talked to him and Tris was grateful for it. Shouldering the door to his room open to keep it as quiet as possible, Tris was surprised to find only Charlie there. She had papers spread across his bed, her laptop was open, and she seemed entirely too focused on whatever she was doing to have heard him come in. It was cute, he thought, a tired grin forming on his face as he closed the door with the same dexterity. "Whatcha doin'?" he asked conversationally. Not waiting for an answer, Tris moved to his dresser to find a shirt to change into. A shower seemed out of the question despite the current sticky way his skin felt, so he was going to have to suck it up.
Alright, Alright. I get it, yeah.
If I stay in Silva would it get you off my back?
Yes. No doubt about it.
