My trip to Colorado was a great opportunity to learn new things and experience a new environment. Colorado was filled with adventure as we participated in white water rafting, zip-lining across the gorge, and panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains.Â
Our trip to was originally planned to visit my great aunt who lives in Larkspur, Colorado and to celebrate finishing our twelve years of school. Although this looked different during Covid-19, we were still able to take advantage of activities we normally do not have the opportunity to do. Most of the activities we did pushed us out of our comfort zones. To be more specific, free-falling from a platform 350 feet in the air into a canyon allowed me to see life from a new perspective. Â
Being able to hike to the top of mountains and see Godâs beautiful creation allowed me to grow spiritually as well. To stand at the top of a difficult 5 mile hike and listen to âHills and Valleysâ by Tauren Wells (describing how God is the God of the hills and valleys) allowed me to see the goodness even through the pandemic.Â
