Falling

When she was younger, a girl said to her friends, "I'm not scared of heights; I'm afraid of falling."

One of them replied, "Is that why you don't like anyone? Because you're scared of what will happen to you if you fall in love?"

She didn't answer.

Years passed, and her heart was shattered repeatedly, just because she shared her heart with other people, and it led her to become the worst person she could possibly be.

Now, she stands alone. For she has already fallen, not in love, but to despair.
