Keep NSFW content away from the main tag, and more
I try to keep away from ‘fandom drama’ but this needs to be said.
My friend and I have talked about this before, but I want to concentrate on the Ninjago fandom this time.
NSFW content should not be unfiltered and should not be tagged in the main tag of Ninjago.
Ninjago is a show meant for kids. This means that it attracts kids.
Nowadays, it is so easy for a young kid to have access to the internet. Which is great! They can see fanart of their favourite show, read stories, play games, etc.
But it’s equally as easy to stumble across pornography.
I want to make clear the fact that I’m not saying that you ‘shouldn’t like NSFW content’. It’s okay to like NSFW things.
But you have to respect the fact that more than half of the fanbase is underaged people. (Not to mention that the majority of adults in this community are not into NSFW content.)
I found out what pornography is when I was 9 or something, because people didn’t filter their NSFW art. I was terrified. I was not ready to see anything like that.
If you want to post NSFW content, do it away from the main tag. Create a new tag for NSFW content. But most importantly, TAG YOUR NSFW CONTENT AS NSFW.
But this post is not only about NSFW. I wanted to discuss something even more serious.
Stop trying to normalize pedophilia.
Someone posted something about Cole being romantically interested in kids. In other words, being a pedophile.

How is anything about headcanoning something like that okay? It isn’t.
This is even more serious than pornography.
It’s not a 'kink’ or a 'guilty pleasure’ or 'just a headcanon’. It’s not okay. It’s just plain wrong.
Kids get influenced by what they see on the internet more than you can ever imagine. Seeing content like that could straight up put them in danger.
These stuff should not be posted on places a ten-year-old has access to.
It’s dangerous, it’s disgusting, and it’s wrong.
NSFW content alone is a serious matter, but this turns the tables upside down a million times.
If you see NSFW content, report it as sensitive and the one who posted it will be forced to filter it.
If you see pedophilic content, block that person who posted it immediately and report it so that it will be taken down. (Words as 'map’ or 'nomap’ are related to that kind of content.)
This is a very serious issue and we should all do something about it.
