I have received a response from Disney Interactive Support. Firstly, I’d like to share that I have been given the answer to Mission Day. Here is what I was told:
“We greatly appreciate your enthusiasm for the TRON series and TRON Run/r, and we thank you for taking the time to send us a message. While I wish we could have a more interesting answer pertaining to ‘Mission Day: May 14’, this was simply something that was decided to be included in the textures in game. Unfortunately, there is no deeper meaning to this.”

It seems strange, and I think, perhaps, at the time of development, May 14th was pertaining to a release date. Regardless, there is our answer, and after the ambiguous email I’d received previously, it’s a pretty jerk move. BUT, what I’d like to show you is what they said next, and what it could mean:
“Keeping the above in mind, I’ve made note of all your feedback pertaining to the game and the TRON franchise, and will be passing it along for further consideration. With this said, we in Support are in a separate office from the other Disney teams, so we won’t have any insight on what comes from this.”

This feedback is going beyond TRON RUN/r. This is about the franchise as a whole, and what we say is being “[passed] along for further consideration.” Write to them, tell them about how much you appreciate the new game, how important continuing this franchise is, and how we, and the franchise, don’t deserve to be let down again. Be respectful, and be passionate. It’s up to all of us. One of the walls has been broken; speak and your voice will be heard.
