I think it sucks that I have to accept an F on my drivers license or I canât vote tomorrow because Florida is run by bigots.
I really have no tolerance at all for how trans men are treated on this site anymore even when it is something incredibly stupid. Especially since I feel like 90% of the time that shit is bait. They want you to have to sit there and take it or object so they can be like âomg youâre upset at THAT well I suffer the most every single dayyyâ
The Attorney General of Missouri just unilaterally banned most adult gender affirming care. This decision is one of the most cruel policies ever released and represents a new front in this fight.
(Afternoon April 13, 2023) The Missouri Attorney General just used an Emergency Rule to ban all gender-affirming care for people of all ages (yes, adults) in the state.
In order to receive any care, transgender minors and adults alike will have to:
have 3 years of documented âsevereâ dysphoria
18 months of state-mandated conversion therapy
have zero mental health conditions, most specifically anxiety, depression, or autism
require tests for âsocial contagionâ for 15 years after beginning care
This will cut TENS OF THOUSANDS of trans people off of medical care. Please care about us, oh my god.
I hadnât used the loan for bottom surgery I could afford this but then I wouldnât have the dick to use at the gloryhole đ
T*rfs bringing back the anti-strap discourse from the 70s
Can't wait for them to starve to death in the street because eating involves oral penetration, kinda ssus right?
Wait. Wait if fingering doesnât count as lesbian sex. And neither does using strap. Whatâs what even IS lesbian sex? Just making out and vaguely humping? Is it just oral or is that wrong too bc guys can also give oral? Like genuinely what r they doing?
Stare at each other and think only pure thoughts until the divine feminine manifests and generates an unproblematic orgasm.
girls, is it straight to fuck another woman?
I know this isn't strictly about butch/femme because not all butch/femme wlw use strap ons or dildos (organic or plastic) and a lot wlw who're neither femme nor butch do, but it's kind of a staple with us and a lot of radfem's hatred for this type of sapphic sex is impossible to separate from their hatred of butch/femme relationships and eroticism as well as of butches in general. The partner who penetrates is too "man-like", butch/femme is too heteronormative, etc.
So yes, they actually do think it's straight to fuck another woman if BOTH of the women involved aren't pristinely Feminineâą while doing it. (Anyone having a dick, organic or plastic, is a Masculineâą trait because of the transphobia.)
And of course there's the biphobia since we all know these losers think bisexual = spicy straight.
I know this isnât the point and I do try not to be bitter but if we get people accepting âTERFs target butchesâ before we get people accepting they target trans men I might kermit fr
mfers will be like "transmascs are privileged because no one cares if a girl crossdresses" as if stone butch blues is not a book full of horrific state violence against that exact thing & the ways it impacts transmascs
âNo one cares if a girl cross dressesâ tell that to all of the adults in my childhood that gave me shit for wanting to dress masculine in formal situations. I would be told I was âout of dress codeâ when I was wearing formal mens wear while the boys could wear jeans for âformalâ wear and get away with it.
âNo one cares if a girl cross dressesâ YES THEY FUCKING DO.
#simply wearing pants is not crossdressing#<- this is me completely agreeing with the post. i was never allowed to dress masc in formal situations#and people who say ''women are allowed to crossdress'' are usually just talking about wearing pants in everyday life#that's not crossdressing i don't think
YES!!! If we're comparing crossdressing, a woman wearing pants (especially women's pants) is not coded in the same way a man wearing a skirt is. People who think "crossdressing woman" means "otherwie gender-conforming woman in baseball cap, women's t-shirt, and women's jeans" have never seen a butch irl
& I think the fact that we have "women's pants" but not "men's skirts" is because feminism has raised women wearing traditionally men's clothes as a symbol of power and freedom (again, as long as the women are visibly heterosexual women- similar to how historical male impersonaters were only considered appropriate if they were always visibly heterosexual women, and didn't connect themselves to queers). But the equivalent for men has only really come about as a result of queer activism, which has only been able to influence culture at large more recently. & all of this also depends heavily on where you live- a woman wearing pants in Seattle is going to be treated differently than a woman wearing pants in a strongly Evangelical town in rural Georgia.
Lived my teens perceived as a butch and men threatened to attack, sexually assault, rape or kill me almost daily on the street
âBut itâs intimidating!! Because you have all of these old people in the government who are like, âIf you try and take the rock out of your shoe, youâre a PEDOPHILE!!ââ
Sunny Laprade's âQueer Enoughâ
[ID: Eight gifs, showing someone speaking into a microphone, saying, while gesturing and speaking:
"I feel like a lot of mainstream media narratives about transgender people is that we've always known, and that's not the case. At least, not in my experience.
In my experience, being transgender is a lot like you've had a rock in your shoe for your entire life. But because you've never known life without a rock in your shoe, you don't really think much of it.
You just kind of assume that everyone is a little bit uncomfortable all the time.
Until one day you're talking to one of your friends, and you're like, 'hey man, doesn't it suck that your feet hurt all the time?'
And he's like, 'UhhâŠmy feet never hurt. Sounds like maybe you have a rock in your shoe! You should try taking the rockâŠout of your shoe.'
And you're like 'oh, fuckâŠI didn't even know that was an option!
Which, to be fair, is not entirely true, because, for years, in secret, on the internet, you've been watching videos of people being like, 'this is what my body looks like 3 years after taking the rock out of my shoe!'"
End ID.]

I do love my surgeon.
I just today managed to get new copies of my 2017 name change so that I could amend my birth certificate in Florida which also requires a note from a surgeon that you are under care to change genders. I emailed him to request a copy of such a letter, 7:30pm, not really expecting anything until tomorrow at the earliest.
I get an email less than 5 min. later saying heâll get it right on it
perhaps one of my hotter takes as a queer person but iâm never coming out again. you can figure it out or live in pure ignorance but either way itâs not my problem. the worst thing society ever tried to teach us was that coming out is an obligation. itâs not. itâs a privilege for you to know the depths of who i am, my sexuality included.
honestly, in its simplest terms this is what âstealthâ is. I see so many people (trans people included) talk about how it is going back in the closet, being deceptive, or âtrying to get cis privilegeâ but in honest truth it is just making the decision not to keep having the âcoming outâ conversation and actually the further along you get the less relevant it is.
whether or not other people clock you is based on such a dizzying number of factors half the time I donât even know if they know or if they even âsuspectâ... but, like, what am I supposed to do about that? lean over to my buddy while weâre out for drinks and say âbtw, dunno if you knew but a surgeon created my dickâ
I know the general stance to âplease donât use my face or anything else I may âownâ in the non-property-sense without my permissionâ is âlmao you shouldnât have made it made public thenâ and you canât expect anything better of humans but it still doesnât seem unreasonable *in the very least* have a social standard of not doing that
but this is just Too Much for people who want to make AI art and deepfake porn tho I guess
also, if the âonly solutionâ is a complete overhaul of global economic systems then you donât have a solution at all
âonly use images you have permission to use for AI training purposesâ seems far more viable
in fact, we definitely absolutely can do that one, but I think we all know why we want to pretend we canât and need a Grand But Impossible âsolutionâ instead
How it feels being trans in the US.
isn't it insane how one guy said "transgenderism needs to be exterminated" and basically the only people who has gotten upset over this are trans people? trans allies fucking suck at their job lol
sorry i dont consider snidely quote retweeting the full hate message on twitter and going "yeah soooo uh this guy probably has never gotten life-changing nonbinary hole before" to be allyship or even like marginally helpful
This is why people get annoyed at *insert marginalised group* rights movements
This here is literally demanding performative outrage.
It's a shitty tweet by some guy. Not everyone has the time or energy to go looking for people's shitty opinions so that they can shout it down. Not everyone has the energy or even ability to articulate their point in an online forum where everyone can then criticise you for it. Not everyone will even see the damn tweet because they're busy living their lives.
If you correct and educate harmful attitudes and behaviours in your day to day life, then you're doing just fine. If you offer support to your marginalised friends, family and colleagues when they need it, then you're doing just fine. If you make people feel seen and valued for who they are, then you're more than fine.
If you do happen to see tweets like that, then do make sure you report it for hate speech, because as we all know, it's unacceptable. Don't let it go unreported. But don't feel for not retweeting it, because honestly, all you do then is give that arsehole a wider audience anyway.
"it's a shitty tweet by some guy" Actually Gavin, it was said by Michael Knowles at the Republican CPAC
this is not just talking about bigots on social media. these are real life people advocating for "eradication" and refusing to acknowledge it as genocide. at a political event.
oh no the mean transes want to see some sign that people object a politician calling for the eradication with the gravity that such a statement deserves instead of silly joakes :C
I wish the medical community supported us more so we didn't have to resort to getting dosing advice from randos online
Guy was concerned about his low T levels and someone was like maybe you're just not good at absorbing gel. And I'm like akdhfjshdbfj no, it's because he was started on a microscopic dose and now he's only just been put on a low dose.
You literally cannot measure dosing by only ml, clicks, pumps, packets etc, you *need* to know what it's concentrated at and this guy's dose was about half of what a normal dose is.
A good 99.9% of the reason I want my birth cert updated is that because I have to be registered as F in the system every doctor I have ever been to from Florida to NYC panics if my T levels come back in the male range and lowers my dose.
The only doctor I ever spoke to in my life that didnât do this was when my regular doctor sent me to an oncologist when the levels came back âhighâ and the oncologist was just like âbut... you are wanting this, right?â and when I confirmed he was âthen I donât see any problems, this is normal for a man.â
thank you oncologist guy for being the one doctor in medicine who gets it and you didnât even know what trans men were when I walked in the door lmao
5 inches. 7 inches. It doesnât matter. no amount of penis inches will ever be enough. Not after all that iâve been through
Meet The Girl Who Became A Man (1937) An interview with a New Zealand trans man named Peter Alexander, taken from the British Pathé archives.
[Transcript:] As the years passed on, it became very evident that the male side, and the male personality, was becoming dominant. So, after seeking medical advice, I decided to cast aside womenâs clothing for those of a male. Although I no longer use lipstick and powder, which would be rather ridiculous when one has to shave every day, I donât blame the modern girl for using it. But seriously, I do not consider that woman is inferior to man, as she has huge responsibilities, and a definite purpose in life. I left New Zealand because of the publicity which followed me wherever I went. And I hope to go to London at a later date. And when I return to settle down and marry here, and continue with my musical career. And finally, I have one advantage over you other chappies, and that is, I know both sides to every little ordinary story. [End transcript.]
I really don't understand this weird like. "oh afabs want [thing associated with men] as if that wouldn't get me killed" when the opposite is true too??? Like I'm not out here saying "have fun with your breast forms and push up bras I'll be over here risking rape and assault every time I show cleavage in public" because that's just bitterness and dysphoria talking.
This is the third post I've seen referencing specifically glitter facial hair which tells me either these were written during the very brief obsession cis!!! men [largely mlm but not all] had with glitter beards, or there was some very niche subset of trana guys who saw the cis guys having fun with their glitter beards and wanted to join in. Which, either way, harmless overall tbh but it's weird that there's so much focus on it. Facial hair = NO FUN ALLOWED apparently.
