Hey, Rhonda! What a fitting end to the season having Claudia and her new best friend sharing two of the only occupied seats at the Roosters final game. I remember when I began attending Mariners games in the early summer of 1995. My daughter and I would be huddled in the old King Dome with 4 or 5 thousand other faithful fans. Then something happened that eventually made it so difficult to ensure attendance: winning! Who knew that winning so much would change things so much! Happy Days to you!
Oh man, the King Dome. You had to be pretty devoted to spend a lot of time there, but it sure did have its own charm, didn't it. Here's to the faithful few! When the good times come (and I hope also for the Mariners sake they do again some day) it will be extra special for them.
Claudia finally found someone who shares her passion! He's been there all along, the only other person always at the park. I was thinking there was a chance *he* was the Lucky Star…naw! Can't be. It will be pretty funny next year when she goes to Opening Day with him and her friends are all bummed out. Thanks again hl67!
