Huge shoutout to the incomparable Daytime diva that is Jane Elliot. Jane is best known for playing Tracy Quartermaine on General Hospital but she has also had roles in A Flame In The Wind, Guiding Light, Knots Landing, Days Of Our Lives, The City, and All My Children. Jane was a gold circle inductee last night at the Daytime Emmys. She's been a performer on Daytime TV for 50 YEARS 🎉🎉🎉
It's official: Rory Gibson is taking over as General Hospital's new Michael Corinthos, replacing former actor Chad Duell.
It's the saddest of days in Port Charles. Leslie Charleson, who played Monica Quartermaine on 'General Hospital' since the '70s, has passed
Molly to Anna: “Does Claudia Zacchara ring a bell?”
Oh????????????
Dante & Lulu.
Best way to celebrate Halloween was to watch the Anthoney Zacchara Weekend at the Boathouse with Tracy and Luke. Fun storyline there back in May 2012 LOL
Mac ain't the stepfather. He's the father who stepped up.
Dante & Lulu.
Paul Hornsby and Tracy Quartermaine.
There’s been an earthquake in Port Charles, metaphorically speaking. General Hospital insiders confirm to TVLine that head writers Chris Van
Maybe I will start watching again.....

Happy Thanksgiving! #GH
GH costars and fans grieve for Tyler Christopher.
""I love that Nina only sees the best and Charlotte and will do anything to protect her. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I want her to spoil her, to defend her even when she’s wrong, ESPECIALLY when she’s wrong."
This is the weirdest take I've seen this week. I don't think Nina (or Valentin) should disown Charlotte or stop loving her, but they shouldn't defend her actions considering they're harmful and she's being manipulated by her grandfather. The priority should really be getting her help. Like have her talk with Kevin, tell Laura what's going on so she can help her granddaughter, tell Dante so he can help her as well. The things Charlotte has been doing, if she set the fire, could end badly or could've. She didn't cheat on a test and it's not even as if the serious wrong thing she did is bullying Aiden again like she did when she was ten (something Willow and Lulu were there to help put a stop to). That was child's play compared to this. I mean, I get that Valentin and Nina want to "protect" Charlotte but not getting her help and not saying anything just makes things worse.
I have some questions for people watching GH, because I haven't been a regular watcher in over a decade and wasn't planning to ever watch again until the day Vanessa Marcil returns so Brenda can escort Sonny off the show.
Who is writing during the strike? Is it Gary Tomlin?
Is there any actual hope of good things happening to/for Blair, or is she about to walk into a seething mess of something horrible that Blair and T&B fans are probably going to wish she'd stayed well away from?
Not exactly sure, but I heard they hired scab writers so I wouldn't expect much.
BOOOOOO
Here's the thing I keep trying to articulate and possibly failing: I don't actually mind characters who are terrible people. I have enjoyed many. What I mind is characters who are terrible people while the narrative keeps trying to say that they are wonderful, often contradicting what the narrative shows us, with no self awareness
The problem is not the goodness or badness of the character, the problem is the extreme disconnect between telling (by the narrative, not other characters) and showing
