Me when I got my wisdom teeth removed this past summer. And my husband goading me, trying to make me repeat myself after I cried over @taylorswift not announcing anything yet. And wondering when I would be invited to something!

When I tried to sensor IDSB while singing with my six-year-old, she corrected me and said, “no mom, it goes, when a man talks SHIT then I owe him nothing.”

And you know what? That’s right, sweetie. Keep singing that.

What a lesson to learn so early on in your life. Please don’t forget.

I’m seeing a lot of complaints about her tour dates and I just want to remind everyone how much of her time and energy Taylor has given us over the years, especially the fans in the U.S.

Touring is exhausting - let’s not ask too much of her.

I just found a notebook from when I was 17 and so angsty and now I wonder

What happens when you become an adult and you aren’t the person you thought you were?

Was I more talented at 16 and stupid, when I was naive and honest?

Than I am now at 27 and guarded?

Is it because I have a kid and a husband?

Or a job in an office?

I wear heels so high I can hardly walk in.

And the creativity just disappeared somewhere in between the graduation cap and the mortgage?

Can you still be vulnerable and open

When you have a kid and a husband?

People to look out for.

Tell me, where am I going?

When the best thing I ever wrote is

Scribbled on a piece of paper in my psychology notebook?

From 2008 when I was heartbroken?

Over a guy, I can hardly remember his name now at this point in my life

I didn’t make it to midnight but I woke up with a jolt at 5:30 AM and started streaming the album. I’ve listened to it three times now and I don’t think there is a single skip for me.

Also, my husband found out last night that I pre-ordered all four deluxe versions plus pre-ordered on iTunes and he hasn’t stopped judging me.
