Exhibition will feature works by 15 artists across the United States and internationally: Charmaine Nicole Bee, Sienna Pinderhughes, Nakeya Brown, Lee Bullitt, Sonia Louise Davis and her partner and collaborator Ivan Forde, Sasha Phyars-Burgess, Kali-Ma Nazarene, Danielle Deadwyler, Atong Atem, Sondra Perry, Bree Gant, Naima Green, Dhool Hassan, Jen Everett, and Janna Ireland.
The exhibit will be on view at Artworks until May 7, 2016.

First forget inspiration. Habit is more dependable. Habit will sustain you whether you’re inspired or not. Habit will help you finish and polish your stories. Inspiration won’t. Habit is persistence in practice.

Happy Indigenous Day. Blessings to my ancestors and the position they have offered me as a gatekeeper. I’m in the woods, the ground rumbling beneath me, with their words and guidance. It’s been two months since I’ve been in California and I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve encountered so far. My journey continues. Photo by the incredible @najvas0l #ar7ii
