25 years ago, Christopher Scarver bashed in Jeffrey Dahmer’s head

Christopher Scarver never interacted with Dahmer before the morning of November 28th. Scarver, Dahmer and another inmate, Jesse Anderson, were assigned to clean up the prison gymnasium. Scarver kept a newspaper article of Dahmer’s egregious acts against young black males in his pocket; this, to him, seemed to be fate. Upon being left alone, as Scarver believes to be purposefully by prison guards, the three inmates separated to do their assigned tasks. Dahmer went off towards the weight room...Scarver followed behind, removing a metal bar from a piece of exercise equipment. It was then he asked Dahmer if he had done the things he had read in the newspaper, if he had really cannibalized young men and kept their body parts in his fridge.

Dahmer confirmed with a nod, (probably knowingly) sealing his fate.

It took two hard swings of a 5 pound, 20-inch metal bar to crush Dahmer’s skull. Scarver stepped over Dahmer’s body casually, making his way across the gym to the locker room. It was there that Jesse Anderson was killed in the same manner as Dahmer.

Christopher Scarver was sentenced to life for murdering his former employer in 1990 - he was given 2 additional life sentences for bashing in Jeffrey Dahmer’s head, along with Jesse Anderson’s - who was serving life for murdering his wife. Dahmer and Anderson did not die immediately, both died enroute to the hospital.

Little is an American serial killer who was convicted in 2012 of the murders of three women in California between 1989 - 1989, and in 2018 of the murder of one woman in Texas in 1994. He allegedly murdered women across 19 states over a quarter of a century ending around 2005.

The Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe is arguably one of the most influential Gothic writers of the last century. He has become a symbol of horror and mystery not only in his work, but also in his death. On October 3rd, 1849, he was found delirious and wandering the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. A witness from the time reported that Mr. Poe was “In great distress and in need of immediate medical assistance” although nobody was quite sure what was wrong with him. He was rushed to hospital where medics worked around the clock to find a solution to the author’s state. After a short stay in hospital, Edgar Allan Poe died at 5 a.m. on the 7th of October.

Many theories surround his mysterious death, although none can be proven. Suicide, murder, the flu, syphilis, even rabies are all likely explanations as to how Poe died. Many newspapers reported that he had died from an “inflammation of the brain” after rumours from hospital staff emerged. One particularly dark theory dating from 1872 suggests that cooping was the cause of Poe’s death, a form of electoral fraud in which citizens were forced to vote for a particular candidate, sometimes leading to violence and even murder. To this day, his death remains unsolved.

The Dayton Police Department has released a PowerPoint presentation on today’s shooting in the Oregon District of Ohio, where 24-year-old Connor Betts killed nine people before he was fatally wounded by police.

EL PASO MASS SHOOTING - THE VICTIMS

20 people were killed yesterday in what has become the eighth deadliest mass shooting by a lone gunman in the history of the United States of America. The gunman was a 21-year-old white male who authored a manifesto wherein he stated he was going target Hispanic people, specifically travelling to El Paso, Texas, in order to do so. The shooter was inspired by ‘The Great Replacement’, the manifesto published by the Christchurch mosque shooter earlier this year. The identities of the people the terrorist murdered in El Paso are beginning to be released.

Jordan Anchondo’s death in the Wal-Mart mass shooting has been confirmed by her sister, 19-year-old Leta Jamrowski. Jordan was carrying her two-month-old son when she was fatally shot by the gunman. Her son is alive, but has been receiving treatment for broken bones. Jordan was in the store to shop for back-to-school supplies which had been on sale. Leta Jamrowski has said Jordan’s son: “pretty much lives because she gave her life.” It is not yet known if her husband survived.

Oh my God. Again. In less than a day, the nightmare on the streets of Dayton (Ohio) repeated. 9 people were killed and 16 were injured. When will it end? These innocent people just walked, went home from work or study, went to their friends and relatives. Why is this happening? Why is nothing done to prevent this nightmare? Why should someone die because of a mentally unstable person who took up arms and realized his disgusting desires? Why should lovedones cry after a phone call saying that their child / friend / boyfriend / girlfriend died? Why mе should be afraid to go to America because there is a fear in me that they can KILL me on the street in broad daylight? Why should someone beafraid to go to school for fear of death? MAY BE ENOUGH? DO SOMETHING. God, I'm just tired of seeing and hearing this. All my thoughts are now with those people who continue to fight for their lives and I hope that the list of victims of this senseless violence will not be replenished. I pray for the relativesof the dead that they would endure this nightmare.
