New photo of Guilherme Taucci Monteiro, the perpetrator of Raul Brasil school shooting
We do not know the exact year the photo was taken, although it was sometime between 2015 and 2017, during the period when Guilherme Taucci studied at Raul Brasil in Suzano, SĂŁo Paulo.

The oldest inn in Denmark sounds like something that was taken straight out of a horror story bordering on being too cliche or weird to be believable.
I present to you BromĂžlle Kro
We donât know how old it is because it was first mentioned in a text from 1198 when it had already been open for years. I could go into detail about how it also used to function as a mill and store but thatâs boring.
The first strange part is that the current building isnât the original. You see, it was build on a bog and slowly each incarnation of the inn would get more and more damp, the floor would become soggy, mould would spread and the walls would bend as the whole thing sank into the ground. Eventually the owners would tear the whole thing down and build a new inn on the rubble. They did this over and over again, leaving everyone to wonder why they didnât rebuild it somewhere else.
Then in the 1700âs guests started to disappear. It took a while for people to notice because most guests were travellers who were expected to be gone by morning anyway, but eventually so many people disappeared it couldnât be ignored.
The couple who owned the inn were accused of getting rich patrons senselessly drunk, dragging them to their room and beating them to death with a club hidden under the bed. They then threw the victims out the window into the river that ran behind the inn.
For years people werenât sure how true the story was. Did they really kill that many people? How would that even be possible without anyone seeing or hearing it?
Then in the 1950âs people wanted to straighten the river out for convenience and after they temporarily dried it up they started digging and found a skeleton. And another. And another. And another.
In all they dug up 28 skeletons from one small stretch of the river very close to the inn. And those were just the ones they found.
And despite all this the inn stayed in business. It wasnât closed despite repeatedly sinking into the ground. It didnât close when the owners were hanged for being serial killers. And it didnât bother anyone that they had been sleeping and dining next to murder victims for years.
Today the ground has dried up and you can even enjoy the view of the river while you have lunch. They keep two of the skulls in the reception and named one of them Frede (a name that means peace/rest) for your viewing pleasure.
And somehow BromĂžlle Kro just keeps going and goingâŠ
When he was twenty-years-old Michael Morganti was buried alive. His killers, John, Weidert, age seventeen at the time, and a sixteen-year-old boy simply known as John A, paid a visit to Morganti in his Clovis, California apartment on November 21st, 1980. John A. was able to lure the developmentally disabled man from the safety of his apartment on into a truck, where his girlfriend and Weidert were waiting. This would be the beginning of Michael Morgantiâs horrific end. Once inside, they bound their victimâs hands behind his back, and drove him to a remote location near the mountains. Morganti was then forced to dig his own grave with a shovel provided by his kidnappers. For forty-five torturous minutes the man was stabbed and beaten with a baseball bat and shovel. The teenagers first attempted to kill Morganti by strangling him with a wire. When that did not finish the job, they pushed their victim into his grave and proceed to bury him alive. According to one of the unnamed, teenage witnesses, in a last plea for mercy, Morganti reached up at Weidert as the boy continued to bury him in the earth. The autopsy report would show that the victim had dirt inside his lungs, ruling the cause of death to be suffocation.
What could have compelled two young boys to commit such an unspeakable act? John Weidert once considered himself to be a friend of Michaelâs. They often worked together at janitorial service. In the summer of 1960, Weidert stole $500 from a client while he and Morganti were on a job. Morganti served as the lookout. Later, the man they stole from was able to trace the twenty-year-old to the crime. Weidert feared that Morganti would testify against him, so he set out to silence his friend. Originally, he tried to hire out the hit job. These plans fell through, and Weidert was left scrambling for a new idea. After classes that November day, he drove around with his friend, John A. and explained his current predicament. The sixteen-year-old agreed to help out his friend.
John Weidert would go on to be convicted for the kidnapping and murder of Michael Morganti, and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. In 1984 he took his case to the appeals court, and was able to reduce his sentence to 25 years to life with the opportunity for parole. After receiving recommendations for his release, Weidert met with the parole board in 2015 and in 2018, both of which he was denied. Morgantiâs family has been very vocal about their outrage and fear of their sonâs killer being possibly set free. Michaleâs sister, Vikki, who was only ten-years-old in 1980, spoke about how her family was still haunted by the heinous murder.âWe still have nightmares about Mike. You know, calling out to us, and then heâs not there and we donât know where he is and we canât get to him. It still happens.â

The Murder of Kitty Genovese
The murder
What would you do if you saw someone being robbed, raped, and stabbed? Would you call for help or walk away? Hopefully, your answer to these questions would be that you would stay with the victim and call for help. However, not everyone does these things when witnessing a horrific attack; some people do walk away and some people wait for someone else to help. That is what happened on March 13th, 1964, when 26-year-old Kitty Genovese was attacked by a man on her way home from work. A man named Winston Moseley, Â watched her walk up to her apartment complex, and he started to chase the woman with a hunting knife. Kitty saw the man and started to run toward her apartment, but Moseley was too fast. He stabbed her twice in the back, and Kitty screamed desperately for help. Several neighbors heard Kittyâs cries for help and some even witnessed the attack. One of the neighbors screamed at Moseley, telling him to leave Kitty alone. The perpetrator became scared and ran away, but no one decided to help the seriously injured Kitty. She crawled up to the apartment complex but was unable to get in. Ten minutes later, Moseley returned and walked up to Kitty, who was barely conscious. He stabbed her several times, raped her, and stole 49 dollars from her before running away. Kitty had suffered about half an hour when her friend and neighbor found her laying outside of the apartment building in a pool of blood. Her friend held her close, and the police came to the scene a few minutes later after someone had finally called for help. Kitty was rushed to the hospital but died before arriving.
Six days after the horrific attack, Winston Moseley was finally arrested. Initially, Moseley was only accused of armed robbery, but investigators soon realized that several witnesses to Kittyâs murder had seen his car at the scene. Moseley confessed to murdering Kitty, as well as two other women. He told the police that his motive for the killing was that he wanted to murder somebody, and he picked his victim randomly.
Trial and aftermath
Winston Moseley was charged with the murder of Kitty Genovese, but not of the two other murders Moseley had confessed to. He pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, but was found mentally sane and therefore guilty. Moseley was sentenced to death, but this was later changed to a life sentence.
Winston Moseley escaped from prison in 1968 after being transported to the prison after a short visit at the hospital. He managed to steal a gun and hid out in a seemingly abandoned house. However, the couple owning the house decided to check on it and found Moseley inside. The wife was raped by Moseley, and he then fled the scene with the coupleâs car. He later broke into another house where he held two people as hostages for two hours before surrendering to the police. The hostages were unharmed. Winston Moseley was found guilty of escape and kidnapping, and was sentenced to two additional 15-year sentences.
Moseley became eligable for parole in 1984, and painted himself as a victim to the parole board, stating that his notoriety had ruined his life. He also told the parole board that his intention was never to kill Kitty Genovese, and stated that it was an accident. Moseley was not released then, and not either in 2008 and 2015 when he once again tried to get released. Winston Moseley died in 2016 at the age of 81, and was one of the longest-serving inmates in the New York State prison system. He had served 52 to years of his sentence.
The murder of Kitty Genovese sparked outrage by the public. How come nobody had helped the poor woman when they heard and saw the attack? The murder of Kitty resulted in the theory of the bystander effect. The bystander effect states that the more people who witness something where somebody needs help, the less likely people are to intervene. The witnesses might think that somebody else are going to help, and therefore decides to do nothing (this was the case in Kittyâs murder; several witnesses told the police afterward that they had done nothing because they thought someone else would call for help).
The Murder of Emma Walker
The murder
Emma Walker was born in 2000 and lived in Knoxville, Tennessee. She dreamed of becoming a nurse and was a cheerleader at her high school. She was also in a relationship with a man named Riley Gaul, who was two years older than Emma. However, their relationship was turbulent and the couple often fought. Riley was also extremely controlling and sent threatening messages to Emma. Emma finally broke up with Riley in the fall of 2016, but Rileyâs controlling and erratic behavior escalated. He showed up at Emmaâs house dressed in black clothes, pretended to have been abducted, and he tried to commit suicide.
Sadly, things did not end there. On the morning of November 21, 2016, Emmaâs mother found Emmaâs cold and motionless body in her bed. Emmaâs mother called the police, and it was found that Emma had been shot in the head. Emmaâs family informed the police about Rileyâs behavior, and he quickly became the main suspect. Riley was arrested when he tried to get rid of a gun by throwing it in a river; the gun was later confirmed to be the murder weapon.
Trial and aftermath
Riley Gaul was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 51 years. He apologized to Emmaâs family during his trial and claimed that he never meant to hurt Emma.
The Murder of Dorothy Jane Scott
The kidnapping and murder
32-year-old Dorothy Jane Scott and her family became extremely worried when Dorothy started receiving anonymous phone calls from a man saying that he wanted to kill her. The calls were short, and his demeanor sometimes changed to instead being affectionate and professing his love for Dorothy. At one point, the man instructed Dorothy to go outside and look for a gift he had left for her by her car. Outside, Dorothy found a single dead rose laying on her car. Perhaps the most frightening call Dorothy ever received was one where the man told her that he wanted to dismember her into small pieces and that he would make sure no one would ever find her remains.
Dorothy left her home on the evening of 28th May 1980 for a meeting. She noticed that one of her co-workers had small red marks on his arm. Dorothy, a female co-worker, and the male co-worker decided to go to the ER after suspecting that he had been bitten by a spider. Dorothy drove her car to the hospital and waited with her female co-worker while the man was being treated by medical staff. After about two hours, the male co-worker was allowed to go home and Dorothy offered to drive her car up to the exit. She left her co-workers, and they waited for her outside. They saw her car driving up to them after a few minutes but suddenly sped off. They reported Dorothy missing after a couple of hours, and her burning car was found the next day, but Dorothy was nowhere to be found.
Dorothyâs parents started receiving phone calls shortly after she disappeared from an unknown man claiming he had killed her. The police concluded that the caller was most likely Dorothyâs killer.
The disappearance and probable kidnapping of Dorothy remained a mystery for four years until her remains were found beside Santa Ana Canyon Road. Dental records confirmed the remains as being Dorothy, but a cause of death could not be established because of the decomposition.
Aftermath
On June 12th, 1980, almost a month after Dorothy disappeared, an unknown man called the front desk of Orange County Register. The newspaper had published an article regarding Dorothyâs disappearance the previous day, and the man claimed to be Dorothyâs kidnapper and killer. He said that he had caught Dorothy cheating on him with another man and therefore decided to kill her. The man also gave some interesting details about what Dorothy had been wearing when she went missing, which had not been exposed to the media. The police believe that the man was the murderer, but they have never been able to trace him. The murder of Dorothy Jane Scott remains unsolved.
On 5th June 1998, 11 year old Wesley Neailey (pictured top) asked his mother for some money to go out and buy sweets. His mother, Liz, handed over some spare change and he headed off on his bicycle to the shops. However, he never returned home.
It was not long before Liz grew concerned, as it was unlike Wesley to stay out longer than expected. He also had epilepsy and was due home for his medication, which worsened her concerns. By 6pm that same day, Wesley still hadn't returned and Liz knew something was not right.
She took to the streets of Arthur's Hill in Newcastle, UK, in search of her son. A local shopkeeper confirmed she had sold sweets to Wesley, but he had left the shop a while ago. His disappearance was then reported to police, and others quickly joined the search for a young boy riding a pink and white bicycle.
The following day, Wesley was still nowhere to be found and a police search ensued, which saw missing posters put up all around the surrounding areas. This same day, a boy knocked on the door of the Neailey family home, and with him he had Wesley's bicycle. He had spotted two young girls playing with it, immediately recognising it as the bike belonging to Wesley. The girls had said they found it abandoned in an area 15 minutes away from Wesley's home.
With Liz's fervent belief that her son would not have willingly become separated from his beloved bicycle, police then began to treat the case as an abduction.

The Murder of Andrew Gardner
The murder
Clare Nicholls was a 28-year-old woman living in England with her four children. Her youngest child had been fathered by 35-year-old Andrew Gardner, who also became a father figure to Clareâs older children.
Despite seeming to be a perfect family, Clare was in fact a sadistic and dominant woman. She verbally abused Andrew and was also violent toward her brother Simon. However, Clare encouraged Simon to hit and beat Andrew, which he happily did. Clare also had a lover named Steven Martin, who also participated in the abuse of Andrew. The abuse escalated quickly, and Andrew was often beaten, burned, starved, and whipped. His feet had been scalded with boiling water, and he had received a cut on his body that was so deep it revealed a tendon. Toward the end of his life, Andrew only weighed 59 kg/130 lbs.
Perhaps the sickest part of this story is that Clareâs children also played a part in the abuse. They believed that nothing was wrong with hurting Andrew, and they played tic-tac-toe by carving Xs and Os onto his body. Furthermore, some sources state that Clare was sexually enjoying seeing Andrew being abused.
On March 13, 2009, Andrew died due to his injuries. Clare jumped up and down on his body, which resulted in several of Andrewâs ribs becoming fractured. His lungs were also injured, which resulted in Andrew slowly suffocating to death. Clare, Simon, and Steven called the police and told them that they believed that someone had broken into their house and tried to rob Andrew, and subsequently beaten him to death. However, the police soon became skeptical of their story. The autopsy revealed that Andrew had been abused over a longer period, and the trio was soon arrested.
Trial and aftermath
Clare, Simon, and Steven were all found guilty of murder. Clare was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after serving 32 years. Simon was sentenced to 25 years to life, and Steven was sentenced to 20 years to life.
It is believed that Andrew stayed with Clare because he wanted to stay close to their daughter. When the abuse escalated, he was too weak to leave. Andrew has been described as a kind man, who had never done anybody any harm.

I finally updated my index (just in time for the new year!). I havenât updated it for about four months, so it took quite a while. However, I realized that the beginning of the post is a bit wacky, but I will fix that as soon as I have the energy to do so. I wish you all a happy new year and I will see you in 2022! <3
The Murder of Elin Klinteberg
The murder
18-year-old Elin Klinteberg disappeared without a trace on March 30, 2021 in Höör, Sweden. Her father called the police when she failed to return home, but it did not take long until the police realized that they had something far worse on their hands than a missing person.
The police contacted the last person Elin spoke to before disappearing; it was a 26-year-old man named Philip Grahn. He told the police that they had been hanging out at his camper and spent the night drinking. However, the police quickly noticed blood on a wheelbarrow outside Philipâs camper, which resulted in them arresting Philip. He confessed to killing Elin almost immediately.
But what happened? Well, Philip explained that they had indeed been drinking and playing board games. However, a fight broke out around 2 a.m., which eventually led to Philip hitting Elin in the head with a hammer several times. The blows to her head killed her, and Philip decided to bury her close to his camper. He then threw away the hammer in a lake nearby.
Elinâs corpse was soon found; she had been placed in a fetal position and had been partially undressed. She was still wearing her shirt and socks, which had been stained with blood. The murder weapon was also soon found.
Philip was a misfit during his school years. He was bullied, and some classmates have reported that he was perceived as âcreepyâ. Furthermore, Philip struggled with violent outbursts throughout his life. For example, he had jumped out of a moving car because he got into a fight with other people in the car. He had also pushed a pregnant teacher and thrown a chair at a fellow student.
Trial and aftermath
The trial began on November 15, 2021. The trial is still ongoing.
UPDATE
Philip Grahn has been found guilty of murder and has been sentenced to 16 years in prison.Â
The Kunz Family Massacre
The murders
The Kunz family were a tightly-knit family and spent most of their time with each other. They lived in a small village in Wisconsin, where nothing out of the ordinary ever happened; at least until July 4, 1987.
During the night of July 4, four people of the Kunz family were killed in their sleep. The victims were 76-year-old Clarence Kunz, Â 81-year-old Irene Kunz, 72-year-old Marie Kunz, and 30-year-old Randy Kunz. They had all been shot in the head, and they were discovered the following morning by Kenneth Kunz. Kenneth lived in a trailer on the property, and it is likely that he would have been killed if he had been inside the house when the attack took place. Kenneth also noted that his mother Helen Kunz was nowhere to be found.
The police quickly came to the house to transport the bodies away and search for clues. However, they were shocked when they saw the state of the house; the Kunz family home was messy, and it was obvious that the family never threw anything away. Among all the dirt and messes, the police found several pornographic videos. What was interesting about this was that Helen, Kennethâs mother, had complained to an employee at a local store about her family watching porn together. This resulted in the theory that the Kunz family had sex with each other; however, if this had anything to do with the murders is unknown. The theory that the family was incestuous gained more popularity when it was revealed that Clarence and Helen seemed to be a little too close and that Helen slept in the same bed as her son Randy. Besides pornography, the police also found a large amount of cash hidden in the house.
Helen was finally found several months later. She had been shot in the head and dumped in a swamp. Helen was never a suspect in the case, but there was a weird detail that suggested that she might have had something to do with the killings. For instance, she had purchased the same ammunition just a few days prior to the murders that had killed her family members. Kenneth was also never a person of interest in the murders since it seemed that he lacked any motive.
A man named Chris Jacobs III was soon arrested and became the main suspect. However, there was no substantial evidence that linked him to the murders; the only thing that seemed suspicious was that he was the only person the Kunz family had ever interacted with outside their family. The police believed that Chris knew that the Kunz family had hidden a large amount of money in their house, and decided to kill them to steal the money.
Trial and aftermath
Chris was not convicted of the murders due to lack of evidence, but he was found guilty of kidnapping Helen. He was found guilty mostly because an ex-girlfriend of his claimed that he had confessed to her. Chris was sentenced to 31 years in prison but still claims that he is innocent. He was released in 2020, but has since been sent back to prison.
There are still many unanswered questions about the Kunz family. Did the family have sexual relationships with each other? Why did they live in almost total isolation, surrounded by filth? And, most importantly, is Chris the real killer?
Dmitry Milovanov Killed His Children And Ate His Daughterâs Heart
The murders
Dmitry Milovanov and his wife Tatyana Milovanov lived an idyllic family life in Thailand. The couple frequently posted family pictures on their social media; some of the pictures show the couple happily smiling while standing in the ocean, other pictures portray the family with their children. However, the couple ran into financial trouble when they decided to move back to Russia, their home country. Dmitry and Tatyana lived in an apartment with their two children and two other relatives. The couple had about 8000 dollars in debt, and Dmitry was unemployed. Their financial issues strained their relationship, and they often fought about how they should deal with barely having enough food on the table.
In 2015, Dmitry spent the day smoking spice to escape his harsh reality. Spice is known for causing anxiety, paranoia, and psychosis. Sadly, Dimitry suffered from all of these side effects and decided that his family would be better off dead. Dimitry picked up his 3-month-old daughter Xeniya and bashed her head into a wall. He then cut up Xeniyaâs chest and took out her heart. According to some sources, Dimitry ate parts of Xeniyaâs heart. Dimitry then killed his 4-year-old son Ilya and stabbed his wife several times. Luckily, one of the relatives living with the family woke up, called the police, and restrained Dimitry. Tatyana survived the attack.
Aftermath
Dimitry confessed to the murders and claimed that he had killed his children in the hopes that they would become angels. Some sources state that Dimitry thought that his children were possessed by demons, and had to be killed. Dimitry intended to commit suicide after killing his family.
There is no information about what happened to Dimitry Milovanov, but he was likely given a lengthy prison sentence.
Robert Fisher: one of the Ten Most Wanted FugitivesÂ
Fisher enlisted in the United States Navy and attempted to become part of the SEALs, but was not successful. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman. Fisher worked as a firefighter in California but was forced to retire after a back injury. He then moved his family to Arizona and embarked on a career in the medical field. He worked as a surgical catheter technician, and respiratory therapist.
He married Mary Cooper in 1987. He was described as a cruel and distant control freak toward his family, having once turned a garden hose on Mary after he perceived her to have spoken out of turn. The couple fought about sex and money, with Mary taking a job that she told friends was a âsecurity fund.â Fisher was embarrassed that his son Bobby did not like to hunt or fish, and once tried to teach him and daughter Brittney how to swim by throwing them off a boat.Â
Friends noticed him exhibiting disturbing behavior on hunting trips and other outdoor activities. In one case, after killing an elk, he began smearing its blood on his face. On at least one occasion, he snuck up behind a family that was picnicking and emptied his gun into the air. He also killed a pitbull because âhe wanted toâ.Â
A neighbor reported hearing a loud argument coming from inside the Fisher home at 10:30 pm on April 9, 2001, approximately ten hours before it exploded into flames. However, police theorized that the murders took place between 9:30 pm and 10:15 pm. At 10:43 pm, Fisher was spotted on an ATM camera, where he withdrew $280. Maryâs Toyota 4Runner was in the background.
Mary Fisher was shot in the back of the head, and Brittney and Bobbyâs throats were slashed from ear to ear. At 8:42 am, the house exploded. Firefighters were immediately alerted to the explosion, which was strong enough to collapse the front brick wall and rattle the frames of neighbouring houses for one-half mile (800 m) in all directions. Before firefighters arrived, neighbors used garden hoses to try to keep the flames under control. Firefighters kept the 20-foot-high (6 m) blaze from spreading to other houses. A series of smaller secondary explosions, believed to be caused by either rifle ammunition or paint cans, forced them to keep their distance. One suffered minor injuries to his leg when he lost his balance and fell near the blaze.
The gas line from the back of the houseâs furnace had been pulled. The accumulating gas was later ignited by a candle that Fisher had allegedly lit, waiting for the gas to accumulate and descend to the flame hours after being lit. This delayed fuse would have given him an approximate ten-hour head start in his successful attempt to evade law enforcement. Fisherâs decision to have the house explode is believed to have been an attempt to conceal evidence of his crimes and possibly to cause police to believe that he had died. The burned bodies of a woman and two children were found lying in bed in the burned-out remains. They were identified as Mary (age 38), Brittney (age 12), and Bobby (age 10). Investigators theorized that Fisher murdered his family because he felt threatened by Maryâs intent to divorce him, and did not want Brittney and Bobby to go through what he did as a child.
Fisher, who disappeared at the time of the murders, was named as an official (and to date, the only) person of interest in the case on April 14, 2001, when Arizona Department of Public Safety officers were instructed in a statewide bulletin to arrest him. On April 20, the last physical evidence of his whereabouts surfaced when police found Maryâs Toyota 4Runner in Tonto National Forest, near the towns of Young and Payson, Arizona, one hundred miles north of Scottsdale. The family dog Blue was found outside the car. An Oakland Raiders hat identical to the one that Fisher was seen wearing in the ATM footage was inside the vehicle. A pile of human excrement was found near the passenger door. Although police searched the area immediately around where the vehicle was discovered, they only searched one out of dozens of nearby caves. Some of these caves form a complex underground network, spanning out for miles beneath the surface. Several professional cavers have suggested that Fisher used them as a hiding place before either escaping, killing himself, or dying from low oxygen levels. Professional cavers have visited these caves many times in the years since the murders, but no sign of Fisher has ever emerged.
Fisher is considered armed and extremely dangerous and has ties to Florida and New Mexico. He remains a wanted fugitive.
