White Supremacists Made Calls for Trump in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Utah
In Iowa:
"According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the American Freedom Party "is a political party initially established by racist Southern California skinheads that aims to deport immigrants and return the United States to white rule." The group claims on its website to "represent the interests and issues of European Americans and all Americans who support our mission."
In the 50-second robocall, Johnson, along with Christian talk show host Ronald Tan and white supremacist magazine "American Renaissance" founder Jared Taylor, urges listeners to support Trump in the Iowa caucuses, according to a press release from the PAC.
"I'm Jared Taylor with American Renaissance," Taylor says. "I urge you to vote for Donald Trump because he is the one candidate who points out that we should accept immigrants who are good for America. We don't need Muslims. We need smart, well-educated white people who will assimilate to our culture. Vote Trump."â
In New Hampshire:
"âWe donât need Muslims. We need smart, well-educated white people,â a voice says on the New Hampshire robocall.
âI am a farmer and a white nationalist. Support Donald Trump,â says another.â
In Utah:
""Mitt Romney and his establishment conservatives are both mean spirited and dishonest. The white race is being replaced by other peoples in America and in all white countries. Donald Trump stands strong as a nationalist. Mitt Romney and his establishment conservatives pretend they don't care.
"Mitt Romney and his mean-spirited, establishment conservatives protect big moneyed interests where captains of industry reap billions in profits while the working man struggles to make ends meet in a rented apartment. Donald Trump is a populist. He cares about the working man."â
