Okay I admit I still have no idea what that show is, but today was the first time I actually saw the clip where that "I can excuse racism but I draw the line at animal cruelty"-meme came from. And apparently the gag was that the people at the desk were in a conversation with The Most Racist Man Alive, who had moments ago been racist at the blonde white woman by remarking in utter disgust that swedes have been mixing with sámi so much that they're practically finns (which is worse).

And as a finn I have to say that that line was ...bizarrely well researched? Like for a show presumably made for an american audience, they could've just flat-out made something up, but they managed to strike smack dab in the middle of the kind of Infinitely Nuanced Shrimp Colours Racism Beyond American Comprehension that a sufficiently racist and xenophobic Most Racist White Man Alive could come up with.

Like specifically knowing there are (relatively light-skinned) indigenous people in the Nordics just to be racist at them.
