Christmas as a Christian
Does anyone else feel guilty celebrating Christmas when you know itโs blasphemy? We know Jesus wasnโt born on December 25th, we know that Santa and Satan is the worldโs version of wordplayโฆ The Christmas trees alone are demonic.
In our family we celebrate Christmas, but weโve never celebrated it in a traditional way. I donโt remember a lot growing up, but I do know that Jesusโ birth was the center of that holiday and even if itโs not his real birthday we celebrate Jesus on that day like we do every other day of our lives. We donโt celebrate Him just because itโs Christmas.
Itโs really easy for people to lose sight on what โChristmasโ is really supposed to be about even though us chosen ones know itโs just a way for companies to get you to spend money! Jesus is important on Christmas and every day before and after.
Iโve always loved Christmas, ever since I was a little girl. The food, the wrapping paper, the lights, the snow, the ornaments, EVERYTHING! The smell of a real tree or the cookies in the oven, the old Christmas movies that made you believe in the Christmas spirit.. since my walk with God started Iโve noticed things I use to enjoy, I donโt anymore and Christmas seems to be just like any other day now.. but what if thatโs the point?
What if Christmas is meant to be just any other day because itโs a man made holiday and not from God himself? Where in the Bible does it say it was Jesusโ birthday? Why would we be receiving presents on Jesusโ birthday, when he gave you the ultimate gift? Life.
Just the ADHD thoughts of a girl who loves her Father!! ๐๐ผ
God bless everyone ๐ค
