There was this one time one of Darkseid's minions tried to take over Metropolis and their ship landed on the Daily Planet and they tied us all up in kryptonite-plated cuffs so Superman wouldn't show up.

Lois was on lunch break when that happened and when she came back to see everyone had stopped working on the articles she had our team write due that week she just built a smoke bomb out of the fire extinguisher and straight up choked out the alien guy until they surrendered and she still got jimmy to take good pictures of it. She even posted some.
