This must be the original part of home, located in the back courtyard.

This would be the foyer entering from the front of the house, in the newer part.

The front has 3 floors.

It has a very elegant formal sitting room.

Lovely formal dining room.

And, this dining room/library is right outside the kitchen. Look at the little sink in the built-in shelving.

This vintage kitchen is amazing.

This original library/office has carved initials and the year in the wall.

This cozy room is in the original part of the house.

Awww, if they sell the house doggo won't have his cozy bed in the fireplace.

Gracefully curving stairs go up to the bedrooms on the 2nd level, and continue to the 3rd floor.

What a lovely little bedroom.

Larger bedroom and a bath.

Big, bright bedroom.

Beautiful bedroom on the 3rd level.

The bedrooms are lovely with beautiful fireplaces.

All of the baths are nice, also.

The courtyard is gorgeous.

I chomped down hard on an undercooked piece of rice in a burrito one week ago today and I think it dislodged my filling or something because it was stunningly painful and it has hurt each time I've chewed anything that offers any resistance ever since.

And now my molar split. The bit on the tongue side is wiggling. I already have an appointment set for Tuesday but now I'm trying desperately to make an emergency dental appointment for ASAP. It's not painful unless I bite on it but I don't want to lose the tooth and I am terrified that when I go to sleep tonight I'll damage it.

This is by a patient of mine with early late stage dementia, who was a poet for most of her life. Her new poems are dictated to me during writing workshops I run at my hospice job. She hadn't written since her diagnosis. This is one of seventeen poems I've written with her so far.

She died early this morning.

I’ve been doing poetry since I could write but I do think she was my only teacher.

Working with her was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I mean it when I say you all are so lucky to get even this glimpse at the majesty of her work.

Drinking it in.

I have a companion,

The cat who sleeps in the backyard

Is watching, too,

And there is so much to be.
