ULTIMATES (2024) #16 by Deniz Camp, and Juan Frigeri.

I am glad that we do not live in the world in which ULTIMATES 16 was pulled from shelves. I can easily see that as happening.

The current ULTIMATES line from Marvel has been extremely timely, and of surprisingly high quality. Deniz Camp, and company shoot with pin point accuracy and I hope that nothing happens to them.

RUNAWAYS #4 came out today. I wasn't even paying attention.

It wasn't even a bad issue. It's just not particularly exciting or notable. I can't even say things aren't happening, they're just not interesting. Just bouncing around old safe houses we've never seen as Rainbow Rowell acknowledges that Nico can do magic without the staff.

A passing grade over shadowed by every other comic I picked up today.

RUNAWAYS #4 came out today. I wasn't even paying attention.

Considering the circumstances of the character's exit, and return.... Chase Stein could justify being significantly more of an asshole than he is in the comic itself. The cast of characters is fairly consistent in how they accept betrayal, perceived or otherwise. Chase Stein was very much betrayed. Granted what Runaway hasn't betrayed the team at this point?

Reread the entirety of Peach Momoko's current run on Ultimate X-Men. Noticed for the first time, that the majority of issues end with the third image.

I think that is extremely classy considering the subject matter of the series. Plenty of Marvel books have leaned into such subject matter with little acknowledgement, and I'm happy to see such a service advertised.

Molly ripping off someone's arm. She then proceeds to rename herself as "Rock Lee Hayes" and embrace the spring time of her youth.

Karolina becomes the new Daredevil.

Chase joins the Howling Commandos via time-travel.

Nico goes through the Siege Perilous, and starts a new life as a back-up dancer.

Gert, and Old Lace eat a pumpkin.

Victor replaces vibranium with the designer drug "Heat."

Alex, Klara, and Xavin pair up with three other characters to form a "Dark Runaways Dark" team.

I liked these predictions I made for Rainbow Rowell's last issue a few years ago. I hope at least one of them eventually happens.
