19/06/20 // I'm lately spending my days thinking I should be doing more to work on my acting as a craft over lockdown - but with the live arts industry in limbo & zero outside inspiration, I am having to learn to be a little bit nicer to myself about it. Nonetheless, this book is easily the best. Whether you're studying Shakespeare or acting it, you should read it: it'll reframe how you view those plays entirely
I’m not trying to be all emo but honestly? It makes me so happy to see y’all enjoying yourselves during this terrifying and depressing time in our history. seeing all of your photos from home of your desk setups, your breakfasts, your coffee and tea recipes. reading about how you’re using this time to self care like you’ve never had the time for before. as students and people in academia, we get so caught up in the work that we forget about caring about ourselves on a daily basis. and the amount of self-care I’ve seen during this quarantine-life is unpresedented and inspiring to me. I’m seriously so happy for you. you are my asipirations and idols. I love this community we’ve created. if there’s anything good to come out of this weird time, it’s you, and the work you’ve done on yourself, for yourself.

Jun 9, 2020 • Learning Italian is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m so in love with this language.
Here’s a 2020 edition of that coffee post — it seems that no matter what I am still all about iced coffee (with oat milk) when I’m writing on hot summer days

if a person of color is telling you you that you’re being racist you need to recognize it and apologize. if a gay/bisexual person is telling you that you’re being homophobic/biphobic you need to recognize it and apologize. if a transgender person is telling you that you’re being transphobic, recognize it and apologize. if a woman is telling you you’re being sexist, recognize it and apologize. the line is not yours to be drawn.

is there a community still here? I think this is the first time I’ve logged on in... two years (in which, hi, I’ve graduated and headed to drama school in a rogue turn of events - what have you been up to?)

14/06/2018 :: I’ve spent the day in the library doing mostly economics with a bit of maths and history too. It’s my last economics exam tomorrow and I’m so nervous for it! Looks like it’s going to be another long night :)))
