JEAN NOUVEL - Apartments, Cenon / France
“.....On the lateral facades, which face the courtyards, the primary focus is the pleasure of colours and reflections. The interior of the window shutters are painted in white, yellow and orange, and the stainless steel cladding reflects the bright colours and the changing sunlight.”

PERFORMANCE SPACE - THEATER
as you are drawing your interior views you should CONTINUE TO THINK AS AN ARCHITECT and DESIGN THE SPACES, create the experience the spaces should evoke. the digital model is not finished with the information you feed into your drawing program - it is the beginning of the design of THE SPACE through a view you were not able to see or control otherwise……a few inspirations for some of the important spaces in your building:

SELECTION OF MATERIAL AND APPLICATION IS AS IMPORTANT INSIDE OF THE BUILDING AS OUTSIDE
REX - Vakko Headquarters, Turkey
glass facade; note the detail at the slab...the glass joint is NOT contained in one mullion but split into two separate mullions with a gap.

double-glazed, floor-to-ceiling glass curtainwalls; architects studied how the sun tracks across the facade and devised a series of VERTICAL FINS to act as a sunshade. The fins should yield a 30 percent solar reduction on the exterior. The fins stretch down toward the lower level, providing shading for the lower-level spaces as well as for seating just outside the structure.
