Hello!! Sorry if this is a weird question but how do you get your game to look so colorful and beautiful? Do you use an editing software or is it a mod?
hi there, nonny! not a weird question at all, i appreciate your message!
first off, i use an edited version the wild pale yonder preset by @virsancte for gamplay - i mainly bumped up the vibrance, added some adaptive sharpen, added the colorfulness filter as well (i think that's all i added, it's been a while, so i'm not 100% sure anymore what came witht the preset and what i added). this does most of the heavy lifting for me!
after that, i bump up the contrast and do a few edits using the camera raw filter in photoshop (messing around with the highlights, shadows, vibrance, texture, and clarity) until it looks as clear and colorful as i want it to, without going overboard.
i recommend starting with a colorful gshade/reshade preset that you like, and going from there! the vibrance, colourfulness, and LUT shaders are your friend. i hope this helps!
p.s. generally, i also use the sunblind lighting mod (like everyone else in the world lol) which also affects how my game looks.
