You are all so cute with your hopes and dreams and mundane little friendships, romances, local grievances, anxieties, sweet little dinners with your boyfriends who have the most pathetic wannabe masc microbrewery chic beards... but you have no happiness. No real joie de vivre, no vicious caprices, no sharp singing hedonism. You've not tasted God and I pity you, i really do, i hope you can find your way out of your little bubble of broadway tickets and fast fashion, I hope you can be too good to put in a commoner's psych ward. I'm rooting for you. For your success. Your spiritual emancipation or at the very least you wake up and you drink a glass of water and you know what youre doing with yourself. You silly little mammal. You little blondes, and brunettes. I want you to get it. To understand. And yet i must confess i really dont. The heights of Olympus are crowded

“I am wearing a slip from Réalisation Par, an Ivia Retrò sheer bolero top, and I layered it with sweater sleeves for added warmth. The statement piece is obviously the 1920s corset that I got from Raise Vintage. Necklace is Dilara Findikoglu, earrings are a custom gift from La Lune Acc, shoes Fila, canvas tote is Orseund Iris. I love small independent brands and vintage shopping online. My style is often inspired by films that emulate an old-world feel. Some of my favorites are Jacques Demy, Bernardo Bertolucci, and Sofia Coppola. Clothing to me is a beautiful and nuanced form of storytelling, and my story always caters to the female fantasy, where beauty is mixed with the grotesque.”

I think plenty of traumatized people just end up being less social & in general just limit the potential for conflict in a way that makes their lives really rough but their survival mode is also antagonistic toward their spirit bc it’s sometimes informed by the abusers behavior so it’s just like being stuck between a rock and a hard place so they develop a rich inner world instead of like trying to “move” anywhere socially if that makes any sense. They usually appear as normal and don’t care for fitting in but want to blend in. They’ll stay single for a long time in their life and find some other pseudo outcast and they develop some codependent crazy ass relationship with and they both are only bonded over their fear of losing eachother
