For once Cater's phone wasn't glued to his hand, nor was he worried about posting to Magicam and interacting with his followers on there.
His attention was focused on somewhere else.
On someone else.
Y/N.
Who had arrived at heartslabyul looking dead on their feet and would have fainted if Cater hadn't caught them when he did.
He had never moved so fast in his life.
Nothing else mattered in that moment.
Not even his phone.
All that consumed Cater's mind was Y/N. His Y/N who had such dark circles under their eyes that if he didn't know any better, if he hadn't seen exactly what Y/N looked like healthy, he would've thought that the dark circles underneath their eyes were a permanent feature.
But they weren't.
Just like how he knew that Y/N shouldn't be this light in his arms and as he gently laid them down on the couch in heartslabyul's lounge, Cater frowned as he recalled that he couldn't remember the last time Y/N got more than fours of sleep.
Doing a job or two for the headmaster was one thing.
But this?
Running Y/N into the ground?
With no care to their physical and mental well being?
That just didn't sit right with Cater.
Picking up his phone, Cater knew exactly what he had to do and he knew exactly who to call.

Jack's tail wasn't wagging.
That was the first sign he was genuinely upset. The second sign? He forgoes going to Spelldrive practice.
How could he?
He wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything else other than Y/N.
Y/N who clearly needed him.
As he observed Y/N laying in the bed in the infirmary, Jack could feel his respect for the headmaster dwindling just a bit more.
The headmaster's "help" was doing more harm than good to Y/N.
And that just didn't sit right with Jack.
Y/N needed to be protected and cherished.
And Jack was more than willing to step up to the plate.

The music in the Mostro Lounge was slow jazz. It wasn't Floyd's style of preferred music, but he knew that Y/N really enjoyed it.
His shrimpy.
He could see that the music and just the atmosphere of the Mostro Lounge was helping them relax already.
Good.
The dark circles they had been sporting was still there, but they weren't so obvious like they had been when Y/N had stumbled into the Mostro Lounge and whatever teasing remark that Floyd was about to make had died in his throat the moment he saw Y/N.
The dark circles.
The stress.
The weight.
His shrimpy shouldn't look like they have the world on their shoulders and no one to share such a taxing burden with.
Floyd felt the undeniable need to squeeze something.
That something being the headmaster.
But the warning looks from Jade and Azul told Floyd that squeezing the headmaster wasn't an option. Yet.
Floyd was much more interested in tending to his shrimpy so he would let the matter go for their sake. For now.
But if this happened again?
The headmaster would be words with him. Whether he wanted to or not.

Silver was for once wide awake. Not dozing off. Not about to fall asleep. He, the one who was most known for falling asleep anywhere and everywhere, was actually awake.
In the green flames of Diasmonia's lounge, Silver was currently watching Y/N sleep.
His sleeping beauty.
They obviously needed the sleep and the rest more than he did.
Silver had promised them to wake them up after five minutes.
Five minutes had come and gone.
Silver hadn't forgotten to wake up Y/N.
He couldn't.
Not when this was most likely the most sleep that they had ever gotten.
Y/N looked at peace. Relaxed. Not so stressed.
Clearly the headmaster was putting more pressure on them under the guise of "helping" them.
Silver's respect for the headmaster plummeted.
He would let his father deal with the headmaster later.

“We were in Professor Crewel’s class and we made quite the mess, even though it was Ace’s fault.”
“Oi! How was I supposed to know that the last two potion ingredients would react that way and cause that big of a hole in the wall?!”

isn't it wild that even though silver (and sebek!!) are canonically buff and strong, they're barely represented that way in-game? maybe the PE uniform cards depicted that well, but everything else just nerfs their god-given right to beefy glory... also people need to make more content of cheeky silver. it's canon. he's so blunt sometimes lol

The Twisted Wonderland anime is confirmed to be an adaptation of the main story!! The animation will be handled by Yumeta Company x Graphinicia and can be streamed on Disney+.
Seasons 1-3 have been greenlit. The first season, Episode of Heartslabyul, airs in October of 2025!! 🌹
Seasons 2 and 3 are dedicated to Savanaclaw and Octavinelle, respectively. No dates have been announced for those yet.
UPDATE: According to this tweet from Yana, it sounds like the anime will be an adaptation of the comics/manga.
