Headcanon

The Yugi twins love playing Minecraft! Although they never get around to fully beating the game, there’s nothing they love more than starting up a new world and seeing where it takes them.

Amane’s role is usually the planner. He carves out early bases, establishes mines early on, gathers resources and tries to map out the area around spawn as much as possible. He’s decent at combat, but often dies if overwhelmed by mobs. Amane will go out exploring to find structures and forget to bring a map. He absolutely loves the new navigation bar, as he no longer gets lost when going far away. Amane also loves the new copper gollum! He doesn’t have to reorganize chests every time Tsukasa decides to drop his entire inventory into a labeled chest. After setting up a base, he’ll try to venture into the caves. Amane is prone to dying in the caves. Usually the twins stop playing once he loses all his diamond tools to fall damage as he can never figure out where he died. Amane rage quits and then Minecraft time is OVER!!!!

Tsukasa yearns for the mines. The first thing he wants to do when they first drop into the game is go find the biggest deepest cave and jump into it. He is responsible for mining, tools and combat. If Amane needs iron or coal, he’s got it. Diamonds? Already have four of them ten minutes in. He has to save Amane pretty often. Amane gets pissed if he doesn’t kill all the zombies for him. Tsukasa also likes to build, but enjoys bigger projects rather than anything practical for early game survival. He’s a Minecraft purest, meaning he’s playing for achievements. No mods, no peaceful mode, nothing. If he had his way ( and knew his brother wouldn’t rage out ) they’d play hardcore mode. Tsukasa dies and looses his stuff too, but it takes an overly bullshit death to kill his Minecraft high. He begs Amane to keep playing when Amane decides to quit, grabbing onto his legs and screaming for him to open the server again to no avail. Leading Tsukasa and Amane to play some other game on the xbox.

Even though their play style is imperfect, and they usually only get as far as the nether, the twins always end up back on Minecraft within a week or two. They make a new world, hop in, and the cycle continues again!
