The entire point of Loki’s arc in this show is that he didn’t want to be a villain.
To be fair, he never actually has wanted to be a villain, but that’s how he’s been cast and treated by his family, Thor’s friends, Asgard, the Avengers, etc.
He actively wanted to choose to be something else. To prove that he is something else. Kid Loki stated it outright: “Whenever any of us tries to change, we end up here” in the Void, pruned from the timeline.
It may suit Kang’s purposes to have Loki be the villain, but it never suited Loki’s purpose, glorious or otherwise.

I think it’s kinda common knowledge that men with severe porn addiction often develop a trans fetish. And for me personally that’s what I attribute to a lot of his sussy behavior when he was younger (interacting with trans girls on Twitter in a very sussy way. Yeah, probably. Also, understanding your feelings is complicated when you’re young. It’s an all new territory for a person, so you’re very mailable to having your tastes set to what you are exposed to. this entire segment where elijah confronted cc trying to make him apologize to nick and getting visibly upset at cc even though cc said that he’s cool with nick and there’s no beef was so weird and strange.
elijah was nice to cc in the beginning and then all of a sudden once they started talking about nick, his vibe visibly shifted and you can see by the angry tone and then awkward silence that it made things really weird. i’m not really surprised since elijah will suck off nick like his life depends on it (in a way because his life and career does depend on it) but i hope cc can see that associating with elijah is bound to cause trouble for him. we all tried to tell him that elijah was a weirdo. the hard cold truth is that if chad and nick were both drowning, elijah wouldn’t hesitate to save nick over cc.
