it’s time to get serious.

this is a game that i, personally, have been waiting to experience for a little over ten years now, and following its development pretty closely for about three. the only real spoiler content i’ve allowed myself beyond what the trailers and thegamersjoint on youtube have given us as part of their promotion circuit ( since jared is where i get all my current kh news and updates ) is the full HD opening of the game, pretty much entirely to listen to the full version of face my fears, and that is it. beyond that, i don’t know, and i don’t want to know.

i’m dead fucking serious. if you spoil this game for me and other people who have already come out and EXPLICITLY STATED they will be AVOIDING SPOILERS, i will block you without question, without hesitation. this series is what got me into gaming, and has been one of the most memorable and influential parts of my childhood growing up, as is the case for many, all of whom i’m sure would say the same thing that i am in that beyond the trailer content ( and even then some people have chosen to opt out entirely for a completely fresh experience ) We Do Not Want Spoilers.

this is something we’ve been waiting years for, over a decade now since the last numbered title in the series. ( kh2 was released in 2006 ) you’re not being funny, you’re not being clever, you’re being extremely fucking rude to all the people who have spent up to twelve years waiting for this game to come out.

dissociation. this and neon are two of the most detrimental to delsin in the long run, where continued use of using their respective abilities to make up long distances leads to a more prolonged sense of detachment from the self. delsin primarily struggles with this post reggie’s death, and in any evil karma setting, is also still a struggle as a means of numbing the consequences of having killed so many people in his quest to dethrone augustine. mild to severe vertigo can sometimes accompany orbital drops early on, depending on how high he goes.

neon.

as mentioned briefly above, dissociation is also a cause for concern whenever delsin exerts his power over neon, particularly in how he can break into a dash and go on for however long he wants to, provided he remains uninterrupted. because delsin can dash along almost indeterminately, the recovery time is dependent upon just how extensively he’s used it, in addition to early headaches and eyestrain, both when he first acquires neon as well as the initial transition from whatever power he’s using over to neon. above all else, neon leaves delsin with the most pervasive feeling of detachment.

eyestrain is also a prominent concern with video, as well as onset nausea and mild to severe vertigo, very similar to the effects of an orbital drop. depersonalization also accompanies repeated use of video, though it doesn’t quite recall the same detriment as both neon and smoke, both of which shift to accompany a different molecular state of being and are much more jarring for it, but the hard light projections that delsin has at his disposal very much questions his handle on reality until he can take some time to readjust to the world around him.

concrete.

fatigue. this is the biggest one, as concrete puts a core strain on his muscles due to how comparatively weighty it is, being the heaviest of his power set. it also leaves him feeling claustrophobic early on, even when he’s never really been very claustrophobic to begin with.

note: symptoms are somewhat lessened in an evil karmic setting due to the fact that delsin does not restrain his powers, and can still be managed in either setting as a result of his conduit status, though also increasingly turbulent the lower his health is and the longer it takes for his healing factor to kick in.

hey friends. so i just contacted my manager because i was supposed to have been given a paycheck today. apparently they’ve had an issue with my information since i came back from a hiatus when i did some performing for the past four months. they informed me that i wouldn’t be paid for another two weeks, which wouldn’t be a problem if my rent wasn’t due. i told my roommate that i would have it today, not knowing that i now will have to wait an extra two weeks to receive it. unfortunately, that’s unacceptable, even for a roommate who owns the house. i’ve asked my parents for help but, in my mother’s own words, she has more bills than money this month. thankfully my rent is only $500 but still.

i haven’t had to do this in a long time & i normally wouldn’t but it’s a somewhat dire situation now. i don’t want my roommate to think less of me because of it. if anyone could assist me with this, it would be much appreciated. cashapp, paypal, or ko -fi all work if you’re able. if not, reblogs are more than welcomed!
