Pictures

are priceless. I decided to look back at an album of baby pictures of myself to remind myself where I came from because honestly, throughout college it’s easy to lose your sense of self. I don’t have an end goal to reach like in high school. In high school, it was to get into a good college but now that I’m in college, I think the end goal is to just live life the way you want to live, which is pretty difficult. Pick a major. Work hard at it so you can get a decent job that you won’t hate completely. That’s a must. To get even that, you have to slave away for classes that won’t even matter a few years from now because once you take enough classes to graduate and get that piece of paper symbolizing that you are apparently qualified in the chosen major and then get that job, there’s going to be more learning required. Learning that actually pertains to what you’re gonna do the rest of your life. And then it makes you realize what those classes that you slaved away for in college were for. It’s a cycle and you find yourself different after every one. Pictures become more meaningful as you get older. Twenty years old now and before I know it, I’ll be thirty. Hopefully I’ll still be me.
