People cheering the USA for having taken Maduro out of Venezuela are fucking idiots, because they’ve basically skipped a shitload of international laws, bombed the place, and barged into another country with zero legitimate authority. And the thing is, that sets a precedent where they can see themselves — and believe themselves — entitled to meddle in any country, under whatever excuse, and do whatever the hell they want. Like, do you even understand how dangerous that is, or do we need to make you a PowerPoint so it finally sinks in?
Edit: I’m adding this because I’ve seen a lot of people pointing out that this isn’t the first time the USA has done something like this and I know that. When I talk about precedent, I’m talking about contemporary precedents of direct aggression against countries within the American continent, which hadn’t happened for decades. And that is a direct threat to all the governments in Latin America that currently dissent from US policies, and that could now be at risk if that shithole of a country decides, on a whim, that it feels like getting rid of them. All of you who are applauding this: Salvador Allende is watching you from the grave.
