I was checking out my reading list on wattpad (which contains my favorite stories wink wink) and saw your story “The chronicles of Bangtan” And checked to see if you had been active or if you had updated. Sadly not. I am still left on a cliff hanger on your story and patently await your return. I’m sorry that I just found your Tumblr. I miss your story and I hope everything is okay. Firstly, sorry this is a bit late, but Happy New Year to you too! Thank you for being so kind and polite!
Unfortunately, I’ve been extremely busy with school, especially due to the college-level courses I’m taking as a junior, and so I haven’t had much time to write and answer messages in my inbox. I planned to return after a small hiatus but school has really taken over my schedule this year so I can’t exactly give a set date for my return. What I can tell you is what I have done right now and what I have planned on behalf of everyone that has been asking!
I do have a spin-off/sequel planned for Message Not Delivered that is currently being (very, very slowly) written and there are chapters prewritten for The Chronicles of Bangtan than need to be revised before publishing. I’ve decided not to republish 29 Days, but I’ve been holding off on announcing because I can’t really predict what kind of response that news will envoke at this point. Several of people have been asking about it (where it went, if it will be republished, updates on progress, things that I’ve already mentioned/announced before, etc.) because they really want to read it again or for any other reason, and I am sorry to say it but that type of audience is not one I want to ‘please’ or write for. I started writing for my own enjoyment but somehow I ended up writing with the goal of pleasing an audience which made writing difficult and not as enjoyable as I remembered it. This was a big factor in my elongated hiatus. Fortunately, I do plan to finish The Chronicles of Bangtan since it is a story that I personally love and have invested a lot of time planning, and researching for!
Aside from the few troubles mentioned, I am still extremely thankful for the undying support that I receive from you and everyone else despite me being unresponsive and on a frustratingly long hiatus! I apologize for being so vague about updates and returning, but I will try extremely hard to be back as soon as possible with regular updates!
