I said mostly harmless. Sure, toxic transmeds exist, but the ideology itself is quite harmless. Transmeds just believe that gender dysphoria is required to be trans, and that being transgender should be considered a medical thing, so that insurance companies will help pay for hormone treatments and surgeries.
Also, transmeds don't believe dysphoria means that you hate yourself, or that you need to hate yourself in order to be trans.
It’s literally proven that you in fact don’t need dysphpria to be trans.
The transmed ideology also doesn’t believe in non disphoric trans people as well as nb people which is disrespectful and harmful especially with the way they act towards said people.
Also they literally spread false information by not using the medical definition of dysphoria which is very harmful

If someone has a medical issue that makes them unable to bind, for instance pectus excavatum (concave breastbone) and they bind with something like sports bras or compression garnments instead does that mean they are a tucute? I am severely dysphoric about my chest, but I cannot bind with an actual binder because of that birth defect. I've tried it and I could not breathe.
Not at all anon!! Not binding does NOT equal no dysphoria or being a "trender". I personally don't bind because it hurts my back after just a few hours of use and I just wear a normal bra. Also, it could be potentially dangerous to bind, especially in a condition like yours. Just know you're still trans if you don't bind!!
