kind of ashamed to say that at first I didn't really 'get' the whole alex horne thing. like sure he's funny enough, he deeply commits to the bit, I can respect it. but I think I was missing one of the most quintessentially compelling things about him - he's literally good. he's sooo good. he's polite, gentle, charitable, down to earth, kind to children and animals, he clearly wants everyone who appears on or engages with his show to have a wonderful time. so then it's like ok here's this guy who by all accounts is seemingly very wholesome, well educated and positively received by his community. but who also genuinely seems to be chomping at the bit to get publicly humiliated, degraded, tied in bondage, manhandled, etc, you name it. and of course he could say no, he could always say no, he's literally in charge! but he never does bc he really really really wants to be treated this way and in fact, he actually orchestrated his entire program around being able to get treated this way. like that is crazy as hellllll alex horne I was unfamiliar with your game you are actually insane wtf

one thing I will say about the yaoi in taskmaster is that it's crazy how there's a profound height and age gap but the shorter, younger one is both 6'2 and 47 years old. that's fantastic. taking notes
