The Seagrass Roots Movement (https://www.facebook.com/seagrassroot) in colllaboration with JCI Makati Princess Urduja, BFAR and the LGU of Batangas, has launched a program for sustainable development and Eco-tourism in Calatagan, Batangas.

The Project starts with Sea Grass awareness, eventually, moving to studying various processes for sustainable development, proper fishing and environmental ethics with the local communities.

In this short interview with Dr. Miguel D. Fortes of the UP Marine Science Institute, he tells us more about the basics of Sea Grass, their impacts to the environment and what sets them apart as an ecosystem.
