would you consider shipping sansa/robb?

first off, i don’t really consider shipping sansa with anyone, given the fact that she’s thirteen years old ( in AFFC – in the earlier books she’s eleven, and twelve. ) and i’m not really comfortable with it also, i’m not really here for starkcest. and then,i think that when people think of robb and sansa’s relationship, they only see it through sansa’s point of view in king’s landing, the point of view of an idealistic & naive teenage girl who tends to romanticize every motion. she has lost faith in the queen and princes and knights – but she needs to place her faith & idealism somewhere, she needs to BELIEVE in something – so she believes that the BOY she played MONSTERS & MAIDENS with would defeat the monster come save her, like he always did. because this is not a game anymore this is real life. and people tend to discard what we see from robb’s side.

Bran would never forget the look on Robb’s face as he stared at their sister’s words. “She says Father conspired at treason with the king’s brothers,” — His fingers closed into a fist, crushing Sansa’s letter between them. “And she says nothing of Arya, nothing, not so much as a word. his immediate reaction is to blame sansa, like everyone else does. and by the second book, it feels like he has completely detached himself from his sister, treating her as if she’s not valuable enough to trade for JAIME LANNISTER – & then like an assett instead of well – his sister ( which is understandable because he’s young and playing KING now.. and this is Westeros and a lot of people do it, but still I can’t picture Ned doing it, y’know. ) & then he disinherits her completely and names JON his heir, && doesn’t ONCE consider the position he’s leaving sansa in, powerless and not valuable to the lannisters. which again, i understand his motive, but does this look like shipping material ? in my opinion, no. in my opinion robb stark was not, wouldn’t have been his sister’s knight in shining armor.

In the way she raises --- there is a GRACE in her attempts to conceal the SORROW in blue eyes when meeting HAZEL ones for the first time.

you grow up in winterfell, secluded from the rest of the high houses, sheltered from the real world. your head is full of notions of gallant knights, maidens fair & all sorts of pretty things -- your main issue is your little sister and your main worries are how you’re going to get away with eating lemon cakes before supper. then one day, you become engaged to a prince, the future KING. he’s handsome and gentle, and everything the songs tell you he would be -- except he’s not. he promises mercy for your father and the mercy he shows is hacking his head off. then he takes you upon the wall and he makes you look at it -- your father’s head. you consider throwing him over, and you think that it wouldn’t even matter if you went over with him. you think that it wouldn’t matter if you DIED. you are eleven years old. everything you thought the world would be -- your ideals are completely & utterly destroyed, everything you thought was true is not. the royal family is everything but good the gallant knights who are supposed to defend the weak and innocent do not do so -- instead, they beat you. some harder than others, but they beat you all the same. you are still supposed to marry that MONSTER. his words make you flinch, and his touch makes you crawl under your skin --- yet you stay put. you are miserable but you put on a facade -- you do not flinch or show any sign of discomfort. you learn how to SURVIVE with words and courtesy in a place where many DON’T. your little sister is missing, most probably dead. bran and baby rickon were killed in your own home. you keep waiting for your brother, Robb. your one true knight to come and rescue you like he did when you were little. except this is real monsters & maidens. your brother never comes, and neither does your mother. they are DEAD. dead & gone. you are ALL ALONE IN THE WORLD NOW. you are the last Stark -- and they married you to a LANNISTER. far from the worst, but they still marry you to the family that destroyed yours. && then when JOFFREY dies you think you should be happy -- but you’re not. you weep instead, and convince yourseld that you weep because of robb. he was killed at a wedding too. YOU FLEE THE CAGE. YOU ARE FREE FROM THE LION’S DEN. only to enter another. so this is sansa stark’s development throughout the book series, and the tv show -- i guess. and yes, you might get bored by the way she describes everything in the books, but DON’T YOU DARE TELL ME SHE DOESN’T DO ANYTHING. she might not swing a sword, but sansa stark is SURVIVING. she’s surviving & she’s LEARNING. and with everything she’s picked up in the capital, and now with baelish she’s going to become a force to be reckoned with.
