Intro Post !!

This is a blog for my Outsiders ocs, where you can ask them questions, bully them and even rp with your own ocs!! Now, lets set some ground rules:

Please know that I have the attention span of a goldfish at times, so I might take a while to respond/reblog, and I promise I’m not doing it to be rude. Sometimes I just lose interest or I’m busy and forget all about it. If you try and spam me to respond, I will block you.

NO BIGOTRY OF ANY KIND. Some of my characters are assholes (Jeremy, Lauren and Patrick..) so they may say some god-awful shit (its also the 60s, so..), but this blog is still a safe space for everyone.

No hateful language. You can bully the characters all you want, but there is still a person behind this blog. And I’m a sensitive little bitch so-

I’m fine with shipping, but some of my characters already have “canon” love interests, and I’m not trying to juggle multiple love interests at once for a single character (I’m a multishipper but its just annoying sometimes lol), just nothing illegal. Ships will be tagged in posts.

DO NOT MAKE AI CHATBOTS OUT OF MY OCS. Just come here and talk to them, its not that scary. I don’t bite.

No NSFW. Jokes and innuendos are allowed (some of my ocs will be more prone to it than others.. Hugo and griffin were sitting in the DX at the front counter and had been for an hour, steve and soda left cause of some trouble down at the curtis house now it was just the two of them. Hugo sat on he counter flipping through a car magazine while chewing on a toothpick.

"i gotta get a car, i want a navy blue one thats got silver stripes on the side" he mumbled while flipping the page as he glanced at griffin a few times.

Griff had been grabbing a coke from the fridge in the corner of the DX staff room when he looked up at Hugo. “That sounds like a soc car, Moretti, you might wanna slow your roll.” He joked. He grabbed a bottle opener on his way out of the staff room, maneuvering to be right next to Hugo and leaning in to get a look at the magazine pages, opening the bottle and taking a swig.

”yeah well maybe I’ll write greaser on the side to prove a point” he replied while showing him the picture of the car. Hugo froze for a second as griffin go so close but quickly played it off cool.

“it’s a cool car, the we can both do races” he shrugged while chewing on his tooth pick, a slight smile on his face. He had thought about saying to Griff he liked him, he had been thinking about it for weeks but he couldn’t. He also didn’t know how.

Griff looked up at him, flashing a grin. “That would be pretty awesome! I could teach you everything I know.” He perched himself on the counter too, swinging his legs around so that h: be facing the same direction as Hugo.

He scooted in a bit, pointing at a car on the page. “Hey, that model’s pretty tuff too!” He looked at the other boy, gauging his reaction to the proximity.

Griff liked Hugo. A lot. And maybe it was in a way he should be a little more worried about. But he didn’t care. Just being around Hugo, listening to him talk was enough to have him smiling like an idiot. It should have been embarrassing, but Griff just couldn’t find it in himself to care.

”real tuff” Hugo nodded as he gave griff a smile. They both paused for a second before turning away and looking back at the magazine while Hugo cleared his throat. “If ur gonna teach me then .. you should read a book I really like then we can both show each other stuff” Hugo shrugged.

He ran a hand through his hair before putting the magazine down and sliding off the counter. He shifted slightly where he now stood and ran a hand through his hair. “You ever had a girlfriend?” He asked simply pushing down his nerves and hiding his voice crack. I mean it was as good questioned? He didn’t know it griff liked guys or girls .. he had an idea but still-

“u ain’t gotta answer that though if u don’t wanna” he quickly stated while tugging the at St Mary necklace around his neck.

Griff blinked in surprise at the sudden question, but recovered enough to answer. “No, I can answer,” He paused. “I have had girlfriends before. But never anything super serious.”

Hugo nodded “alright yeah cool .. super cool” he replied while sitting back on the counter. “You aint got a cancer stick do ya?..” he mumbled. Hugo never smoked I mean never so this was wild.

Griff shook his head. “Oh, I don’t smoke. At least not as much as other people around here do.” He dug in his pocket. “I still carry some around, in case someone else wants one, though.” He looked up at Hugo. “Why, you asking for one?”

It was a bright sunny day in Tulsa, and normally that was a pretty nice thing, except to Nash it meant that it was hotter than the surface of the sun outside today. He tugged on the back of his shirt, which was already starting to stick to his sweat-soaked back. He adjusted himself on the saddle of his horse as it trotted down the dirt-gravel road just outside of Tulsa.

*once Keaton noticed him on the road, they shifted their weight to allow Maverick to catch up to Nash. After about a minute, they found themself next to Nash, grinning*

Nash looked over at Keaton, giving them a wry smile. “Hey yourself.” He took off his hat and wiped the sweat from his brow with the back of his wrist. “What’re you doin’ out here?”

Jus’ takin’ Mav out, he was gettin’ a little cooped up back home

*they rubbed their hand against the horse’s side, petting him*

What about you? I never see ya out this far

Nash only shrugged. “Had to get a new view. Think this guy was getting sick of the old one.” He patted the neck of the horse he was riding. “Maybe I was too.”

Guess that’s fair

*they playfully kicked his leg*

You wanna head back to the farm? Seems like you could use a minute to cool off

“That sounds like heaven. You lead the way.”

*they nodded and pulled ahead, leading him back towards their grandpas farm*

When the two of them got to the farm, Nash looked around as they walked past the fence surrounding the property. “Still looks the same as when I was here.”

Nash used to work on the Thompson farm back when he was younger. After his grandparents began to homeschool him, he couldn’t stand being cooped up in the house so he started doing odd jobs around town. One of those ended up being a permanent job that he got paid a regular salary for, and that job was here as a farmhand.

*Keaton nodded and looked around*

You know my gramps, he doesn’t tend to change much. Except when we get new animals

Speakin’ of, we just got a couple ‘a rabbits

“Did ya now?” Nash looked over at them. “How’s Ben doin’ lately?”

*they smiled, watching where their horse was treading*

He’s real good. Not slowin’ down any time soon

“That’s good,” Nash furrowed his brows slightly at Keaton. “He’s takin’ breaks every once in a while though, right? Wouldn’t want him keelin’ over on us.”

*they nodded, laughing just a little*

Yes, he is. He’s a’right man, promise

Nash’s shoulders relaxed a bit. “Alright. Good. That’s good.”

You ever think about comin’ back?

*keaton glanced over at him, genuinely curious*

He shook his head. “Got a job someplace else, I’m afraid. And I got the rodeos too, that keeps me busy. I’m happy to come back and help out anytime you need me, though.”

*they nodded*

Fair ‘nough. Just know we’ll always have a spot for you

“I appreciate it.” Nash nodded once, giving a ghost of a smile to Keaton.

*they grinned at him, big and goofy*

Eventually, they reached the stable where the Thompsons kept the horses. Nash swung his leg over the saddle and hopped down to the ground.

*Keaton did the same, leading Maverick back to his stall before walking back to Nash*

Nash hooked his thumbs in his pockets, thinking for a moment. “You mentioned you got some new rabbits a while back?”

Oh yeah! Cmon

*they practically ran out of the barn, back towards the house where a small coop looking structure was*

They’re in here

Nash leaned down slightly to get a better look through the wires. “That them back there, all huddled up?”

Yeah, they’ll come out, just give it a sec

*Keat opened up the little door in the front, gesturing for the rabbits to come forward*

Nash watched them, waiting for one of the rabbits to approach the coop’s entrance.

Then, a small brown and white rabbit cautiously approached Keaton, sniffing their hand.

Hey baby…

*they picked up the rabbit and walked over to Nash*

This one heres Pammy

Nash smiled a bit. “Hey there, Pammy..” He muttered softly, slowly taking the rabbit into his arms. “Well, aren’t you a precious little thing?”

Ain’t she?

*a few more of the rabbits came out, surrounding Keats feet*

We got a lot

Nash chuckled, a noise that was rare for him. “I can see that.”

He bent down, shifting Pammy in his arms to be able to pet the other rabbits with ease.

*keaton smiled, looking down at the boy and the rabbits*

We got a couple that ain’t named yet. Do you wanna name one?

Nash looked up at Keaton. “Sure. Let me get a look at ‘em.”

*Keat dug around for a minute before pulling out a small, brown bunny and holding it in front of Nash*

Nash took the bunny from them and stared at it for a moment, softly scratching behind its ears. “Hmm.. What should your name be, you little cutie..” He muttered.

He thought for a moment, then spoke up. “You.. Look like a Ray. Little Raymond.” He looked up at Keaton. “It’s a boy, right?”

*they laughed and nodded*

Yeah, yeah it is

“Alright, then. Ray it is.” Nash rubbed the top of Ray’s head with his thumb and gently sat him back down to join the others.

Nash chuckled again. That’s twice today.. “I don’t know if you want me to be the one namin’ them. You’ll probably wind up with one named Whiskey or Bourbon.” He joked.

Nash’s laughter died down and he decided to change the subject. “Say, where’s Ben anyway?” He asked, looking around the barn.

Hugo and griffin were sitting in the DX at the front counter and had been for an hour, steve and soda left cause of some trouble down at the curtis house now it was just the two of them. Hugo sat on he counter flipping through a car magazine while chewing on a toothpick.

"i gotta get a car, i want a navy blue one thats got silver stripes on the side" he mumbled while flipping the page as he glanced at griffin a few times.

Griff had been grabbing a coke from the fridge in the corner of the DX staff room when he looked up at Hugo. “That sounds like a soc car, Moretti, you might wanna slow your roll.” He joked. He grabbed a bottle opener on his way out of the staff room, maneuvering to be right next to Hugo and leaning in to get a look at the magazine pages, opening the bottle and taking a swig.

It was a bright sunny day in Tulsa, and normally that was a pretty nice thing, except to Nash it meant that it was hotter than the surface of the sun outside today. He tugged on the back of his shirt, which was already starting to stick to his sweat-soaked back. He adjusted himself on the saddle of his horse as it trotted down the dirt-gravel road just outside of Tulsa.

One of those ended up being a permanent job that he got paid a regular salary for, and that job was here as a farmhand.
